Perfect replacement for my other eyeliner pencil that had questionable ingredients. I had no idea this product was EWG certified until I was searching. The fact that it uses safe ingredients, isn’t a ridiculous price, and can also be purchased at the store, I don’t think I’ll buy any other brand again! Color is exactly as pictured, goes on smooth - so smooth that my pregnancy butterfingers accidentally swiped my mirror, fingers, cheek, and stomach on the first application - totally my fault for not being able to hold a pencil. It comes off effortlessly with my microfiber makeup remover cloth, but stays on my lid all day. I did have very slight smudging under my lower eyelashes from where I had applied it to my waterline, but not nearly as bad as my expensive brand had done. I usually go for premium brand with cosmetics but gave this a shot after seeing the EWG certification. This performs beautifully! I have had absolutely NO issues with sharpening this pencil as other reviewers have said. Perhaps many forget how to sharpen pencil eye liners since they have been a bit out of style for a long time but just keep turning until it naturally releases from the sharpener and you are good to go. It stays on so good, too good in fact. I use a quality eye makeup remover but in the morning I can wake up with some smudged under my eye after trying to remove. Smudging really only happens twice with this however, when first applying on the water line you might see some transfer to the bottom line. This wipes off easily with a qtip if you get it right away. The other time is if you did try removing and didn't get it all before bed. I have slept in it without trying to remove it (sometimes you just are too tired to move!) and woke with barely a smudge. I have found this lasts all day, doesn't melt and smudge but gives me just enough time to smudge out during application for the effect I want. Doesn't bother my sensitive eyes and has lasted a long time with sharpening. I will be purchasing this for as long as they make it. ... show more

Goes on smoothly. Liked the charcoal color. Didn’t like that it requires sharpening like a pencil—I happened to have a sharpener, but it seemed to sharpen unevenly—I’m concerned it’s not going to last very long. Will have to report back.

Pros: Nice & creamy. Good color. Cons: doesn’t last long before you have to bring out a sharpener to sharpen and you will never get that nice “point” you see in the advertisement again. Why can’t it be self dispensing & sharpener in one?

Dear Sir and Madams: 1. I used it for 2 days only (very little amount), and it is almost over! Impossible to sharpen it in order to reach more of its content, as the external part of the eyeliner is composed by plastic rather than wood, AND this external part is completely detached from the content itself! Description: 2. There is a circle (cylinder) of air, a buffer of air between the cylinder (the plastic part of the pencil) and the content itself, so one is UNABLE to sharpen the external plastic part of the pencil. 3. In order to even reach even further the material, it is IMPOSSIBLE to pull it out of the system, even at a cost of contaminating it or damaging it- if you venture into using a utensil, for example. 4. JUNK to properly describe it, and to my understanding given the info I have at hands, a scam, unless for a fact it is nothing but en eyeliner EXTREMELY overpriced.
