I originally ordered an s16 which lasted only 2 years. It barely got hot and when it finally broke down I then bought the Titan. Since I already had a 16kW tankless setup replacing the old tankless with this new one was simple and easy. This unit gets way hotter than the other 16 kW models on the market.     • Simple Installation
When Installed properly it will work properly. Pay attention to the breaker size needed. Only drawback I see is when the water supply is too cold the heater will struggle to keep up.... so if you supply is often "frigid" then you may need a larger unit. Overall I'm impressed....although the efficiency of the unit has been hard to track due to the inflated energy costs. We will see... ... show more

    • The Titan has a life expectancy of one month after the expiration of the 10 year warranty.
That I was able to buy the exact same model I was replacing and therefore did not have to change piping into the unit.

    • Works well for a medium home
Upgraded from an N-120 that went bad. We live in middle Georgia so it doensn't get that cold, but in the Winter the N-120 would only be about Luke warm in the master bath (right next to the heater) and not warm at all in the bath across the house. The N-160 has been much hotter so far!
