This tankless water heater is great! We live in a warm climate and this provides plenty of hot water for 2 bathrooms, kitchen and washing machine. I would say it was an easy installation, but I’m basing that on the lack of cursing by my husband while he hooked it up. All I did was hold the flashlight and hand tools to him! Also, this is the third one he has installed, so his experience probably helped as well. The compact design left plenty of room for a water filtration and RO unit set up in the same utility area.     • Works well for a medium home
Upgraded from an N-120 that went bad. We live in middle Georgia so it doensn't get that cold, but in the Winter the N-120 would only be about Luke warm in the master bath (right next to the heater) and not warm at all in the bath across the house. The N-160 has been much hotter so far!

    • No reasonable customer support if unit fails.
The unit worked well for 33 months. It began to malfunction, operating at reduced power and therefore at lower temperatures. I called Niagara Industries for some help with the problem and their answer was to remove it and ship it to them for repair. I live in northern Georgia and they are located in Miami Florida. That was the only resolution offered. My wife and I would without hot water for weeks probably. Just the shipping would be over one week each way. There are many ways that they could have resolved the problem but they would not accept any other alternative that I offer.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying a Titan tankless water heater. No customer support available, unless you send it to them for repair. ... show more

I originally ordered an s16 which lasted only 2 years. It barely got hot and when it finally broke down I then bought the Titan. Since I already had a 16kW tankless setup replacing the old tankless with this new one was simple and easy. This unit gets way hotter than the other 16 kW models on the market. It handles my 3 bedroom two bath south florida house easily. They're interface is simple and straightforward. Definitely recommend this brand. ... show more

Best bang for your buck tankless heater. Highly recommend it if your just looking for a nice unit with not tons of maintenance. My last one lasted almost 10 years with 0 maintenance needed.

    • A good water heater that looks as assembled by careless robots.
So far, it works as intended, and that's is very good. My 4-star review is related to the apparent quality. The assembly is very rough with buttons and dials that are misaligned. This is not a hardware to show but I think they should pay more attention to the quality of its presentation.

    • Simple Installation
When Installed properly it will work properly. Pay attention to the breaker size needed. Only drawback I see is when the water supply is too cold the heater will struggle to keep up.... so if you supply is often "frigid" then you may need a larger unit. Overall I'm impressed....although the efficiency of the unit has been hard to track due to the inflated energy costs. We will see... ... show more
