  • The most colorful kids bike I have ever seen! [UPDATED REVIEW]
Color: Multi-Color
This bike was purchased for a 6 year old who absolutely adored it. The bike was almost assembled. The only assembly required was the front wheel, handlebar, seat and pedals. The front basket and rear doll seat were a quick install as well. The bike looks EXACTLY as pictured here on Amazon page. It is absolutely beautiful and gets a lot of attention. The handlebar is fixed-height and cannot be adjusted. The seat can be adjusted to different height levels. However, at its lowest, it bumps into the doll seat. But the doll seat's bracket can be easily bent to adjust it to a lower position allowing enough room for both seats. Although I would have preferred the doll seat to be a bit further behind the bike seat for more room, given that the bracket can be bent, it's not a deal breaker. The basket attachment ties were flimsy so I opted to use regular zip ties that do a much better job of keeping the basket in place and tightly secure. Overall, this bike is perfect for a girl aged between 3 and 7 (depending on her height). '''' UPDATE 10/01/2015 '''' We have had this bike for more than a year now. I am happy to report that it still rides like the day it was assembled. The doll seat and basket have stayed in place. None of the colorful decals peeled off. When I first got it, I was a bit concerned that colors might fade because of exposure to sun or rain. I’m happy to report that the paint and decals lasted all these months without a problem. If I could give it six stars I would. This is a very well designed, high quality bike. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble
Color: Multi-Color
I bought this bike for my 5 year old granddaughter. We were able to assemble it in about an hour. She was riding it soon after and loves it! I love the graphics on the bike and was very happy when she picked this bike out.

  • good bike, though a bit heavy
Color: Pink
we got this bike for my daughter who was transitioning from a balance bike. she was able to ride it day one, and enjoyed it. it has coaster (foot) brakes, which the internet seems a bit divided on- some people hate them, some people learned using them. count my in the latter group. we are happy with this bike, though beware that it is heavy. it's obviously a cheap bike to be sold to big box retailers, and not a bike designed for children- if it was, the bike would be lighter, making it easier for kids to brake and ride easier. this is a key consideration when buying a child's bike, and for our next bike, we will likely opt to buy a more expensive bike with hand brakes. important for a kid's bike to be lighter and be a lower % of the child's weight to amke it easier to propel and brake. the tradeoff when buying a cheaper bike is that this is not a consideration for the manufacturer- they just want to make the cheapest bike to sell to the big box retailer. if you're ok with that, then get this bike. ... show more

  • Excellent Bike - Even Better With Minor Modifications
Color: Multi-Color
If you are looking for a bike that is a girl's bike that isn't covered in Barbies and Disney Princesses (and 401 other commercial things), look no further. This beautiful little bike is colorful and unique. And truthfully? This bike can probably be used for boys, too, if you want to take the time to remove the decals (if they are too feminine for your/his taste). It is a very fun and cute bike! It is very reasonably priced for what you get We purchased this bike for my daughter's birthday. She is turning six and is small for her age. She has just outgrown her 12" bike this year and we wanted to get her something larger so she didn't have to struggle to pedal. She initially loved a couple that had handbrakes but completely went crazy over this one. We haven't given it to her yet. I bought it a couple weeks early before her birthday we had shipping problems or the bike came missing pieces so we could easily make an exchange if necessary. It wasn't though. Everything came in tact, and Amazon surprised me by double-boxing it so my daughter didn't know what it was when it was delivered. It went together *very* easily. It came with a very thick instruction manual, but I really didn't need it to figure it out. Most of the parts came pre-installed—except the minor accessories (tassles, doll seat, basket, etc...), handlebars, the pedals, the seat, and the front tire. Also, the tires were partially inflated (as most new bike tires are for shipping). I was easily able to do it all myself in less than an hour. The most difficult thing to install was the doll seat. I couldn't find instructions on how to do it and it does need to be held up to be bolted in. Luckily I figured out if you stuff a towel between the doll seat bracket and the back tire, it will stay put while being bolted down. Pros: • The frame is very sturdy and well-made • The bike is super easy to assemble • Excellent comfy seat • Unique and colorful • Fun cruiser design • Coaster brakes work fantastically Cons • Chainguard is cheap plastic and will end up scratched up in no time—plus has the potential to be broken • The designs are just decals—not paint—and have the potential to peel off • The tassels are really cheap and will fall apart or tatter up in a year. Ours lost a "string" right out of the box. • The pedals don't move very easily and are small cheap plastic. • No back reflector. Front reflector is not easy to see with basket. • Doll seat seatbelt has no instructions (though it's not hard to figure out the installation). It has a *horrible* wimpy velcro satin ribbon that will come undone in a heartbeat. • No optional handle brake • No kickstand ^ Almost all of the issues above can be resolved and are worth dealing with as the bike is very inexpensive to begin with. Amazon sells a number of 1/2" bike pedals that are 10 times better. I am looking at Ebay for possibly replacing the chainguard (they seem to have a few metal chainguards that fit kid's bikes—including some colorful ones). It won't have the same design, but since this bike is so colorful to begin with I don't see it being a problem finding a chainguard to match. The tassels can also easily be replaced. So can the doll seat belt. I'm looking into buying a brlghtly-color buckling dog collar from a dollar store to use instead of the satin ribbon. Got to protect those dollies! Likewise, I'm looking into buying stick-on reflectors for the back of the doll seat and to go in front of the basket. Finally - The little girl on the decals is super cute, but she doesn't look like most kids. She is a red-headed caucasian with blue-eyes—great if you have a kid that looks like that (or don't mind), but many of us who do not are concerned with the overuse of blue-eyed kid images (yes, I sometimes overthink these things as a mom of a little girl). Luckily, sharpies are quite useful in this case, and I plan to make the girl into a brown-eyed brunette like my daughter. This may also work for parents who have darker-skinned children. The hair can probably be changed to anything but blonde (it's auburn/orange). Test on it carefully first, but as it is a decal it shouldn't mark up the frame. Very excited and cannot wait to give it to our daughter for her birthday. Will post an update after we do. ... show more

  • Five-year-old granddaughter LOVES this bike! Well constructed and balanced; Smooth ride but can go fast!
Color: Multi-Color
I purchased this for my five-year-old granddaughter for her birthday in May after hearing her crying that she didn't want to ride her brother's hand-me-down bike. When I was visiting a few weeks ago, I finally got to see her ride it! She is small for her age, and the seat is set at the lowest setting. Unfortunately, her father did not attach the doll carrier before attaching the seat, and he hasn't found the time to put it on. (I'm a little upset, but my granddaughter doesn't seem to notice.) She has been riding it for four months, and her parents have no complaints. This bike looks just as bold and loud as it does it the pictures. My granddaughter picked it out, and my daughter thinks she was rebelling against her brother's hand-me-downs. It is really cute, but it also is an well-constructed bike. The training wheels are balanced, and it rides smoothly. She is able to pretty fast on it, and she is kind of a speed demon. ... show more
