This clearly works for cars and bikes etc... But ya, it works on air camping mattresses too! Pool toys need blowing up? Yep. Its not the best for those things sure, but it does work and its super portable.

The unit is a great idea as its size is great for glove box in car and it did the job refilling car tires. The drawback with this ONE unit, as I purchased one unit...the charge drained too fast during use. I would fill 1 tire from 26 to 34 psi and it was 50% drained! When at half power, I attempted a second tire and it had less mojo to fill respectfully, it took too long. Is it possible only one set of batteries was getting a charge? I liked unit size and what it can do overall, menu is easy and it worked as described...but my unit did not hold a charge properly and it could be an outsourced battery pack and it seemed to me only one set of batteries vs 2 sets charged and the LED level was operating off the one set vs 2 inside. Thus draining too quickly. I say buy the unit and see if yours is operating as described vs my purchase. Its a great size tool for a car...and useful.

The product itself is outstanding, the drawback is only the length of the fill tube. Two more inches would mean the world while four inches would make it perfect This product is used to monitor tire pressure on my harley, and the length of the tube makes it precarious in perfect conditions. That's it,it works and accurate and how much more could you want! I'll be purchasing a chuck to aide my task as I do check pressure more than most ( cost of tires and avoiding premature wear

As I'm sure other people deal with, I don't like going to the mechanic shop to fill up my tires. They are always nice and it's easy but many times there is a line to get the free fill, I also feel a lil awkward visiting a place of business, them doing a service for me and me not paying for anything. This compressor mends all my issues! It is a very portable compressor which is perfect to keep in the car or garage and not take up a lot of space. It can get loud but it works great, has multiple different settings, and most importantly... gets the job done. Now no more waiting in line at the mechanic shop for a fill. I would recommend this to anyone that goes through similar situations as me!

this little VXSCAN model ATJ-8766 Portable Air Compressor is a powerful little champ. it is nice and compact and feels good in the hand. It contains (variously) a 6000mAh or 7500mAh lithium ion battery (depending on what part of the listing you read.) And it (variously) pumps up to 120psi or 150psi. It has two charging ports for connecting to a USB type C charging cable and alternately connecting to the car’s cigarette lighter/accessory port for charging. It also has a type A port for supplying power to perhaps a cellphone whose battery is slowly dying. It has very easy to understand controls and the instruction booklet is rather well-written, too. One caution - the instruction manual explains that you must press-and-hold the on/off button for about three seconds to turn on the compressor (a nice safety feature) And for changing the measurement units=psi, bar, KPA etc and for selecting device=car, motorcycle, bicycle, balloon etc simply press the M key and watch the changing icons. Long presses change the units and short presses change the device settings. What does it come with ? There is the compressor, a USB A to C charging cable, a charging cable that attaches to “the cigarette lighter”, several attachments to allow for inflating basketballs or soccer balls, etc. And it has a very nice velveteen bag to keep all these items neatly together. (It does not come with a 110Volt AC to 5Volt DC wall adapter/wall wart for charging the compressor battery since the world is swimming in such wall warts.) It even contains a flashlight and a flashing red light mode. So i just had to give this cute little device “an acid test”/”a trial by fire.” So i fed it a 17-year-old spare tire that only had 5psi in it. Since the tire was supposed to be inflated to 60psi, that was a big task. But the little compressor sang a song as it happily pumped along to 60psi. Granted - it took 15minutes and it was very hot when it got done. And a kinder person would have likely given it the task in two chunks instead of one long grind. But i was all about seeing what it could do when really challenged. ¡ And it Passed ! (Note - i am not certain “which device” i had the compressor set to so it could have been set to the “slow-pump bicycle mode.” In which case setting it to “automobile mode” might have sped up the process greatly.) I used to have a luggable lead-acid version of this type of portable compressor and i have missed that thing dearly since it died many many years back. it is going to be so nice to have this beautiful, small and updated futuristic version with me in the car from now on. i think this is a totally awesome little device and think all car drivers ought to have one in the car. Got a car-driving friend who has a birthday coming up ?
