Total waste of money. Got this for my husband for Christmas as his one of 10 yrs stopped working. He used it for the first time last week because the tire pressure on his car was low. Worked perfectly, then a few days later before his tire appt, the pressure was low again. Went to use the compressor and it didn't work at all. Tried everything to no avail. Now we have a brand new, used one time, piece of junk sitting in the garage. Since this was a Christmas gift all return windows are closed. EDIT: After leaving this review the company reached out and within one day they overnighted a brand new one. I didn't leave a review right off because we didn't have an immediate need to use it. We have since used it 5 or 6 times and it has been perfect every time and works great. The first one must have been a lemon as those do appear every so often. This is a really good, reliable pump that does exactly what it is supposed to do. If you're sick of reading, you can stop now and just buy this thing. It just plain works perfectly. It easily inflates a car tire with wall power, battery power, or cigarette lighter power. I was surprised by how powerful it was on battery power. I was able to inflate two very deflated car tires on one charge and had tons of power left over. This thing is really handy and the dual motor is very useful. My daughter spilled some sparkling water on a bed sheet, so I used the high-volume side of the pump to blow air at the spill. It dried it up in no time. You can also attach the high-volume hose to the intake side and, that allows you to deflate inflatable rafts, toys, etc. This pump is very quiet compared to prior pumps I've had. It's also surprisingly lightweight. I don't know why I'm sitting here still writing about an air pump, but this little thing does exactly what it said it would in the description, and that is a rare pleasure. I can't say this air pump has changed my life, given me a new insight into the universe, or calmed my soul, but it does allow me to blow stuff up really well. ... show more

I felt it was necessary to worn other customers of this faulty compressor. I got it out to pump up a tire one day. The compressor turned on for a few seconds and then shut off and the display went blank. I thought maybe it was the battery, but the battery showed a full charge. I charged it anyway, still nothing. Tried 12V and 115V still nothing. I went back to Amazon to check out one star reviews. Many other customers had the same problem. I found one review interesting. It says in the manual to not store it below 50 degrees or above 100 degrees. I attached a picture of this in the manual. The brand name is Worksite, but the air compressor shouldn't leave the comfort of your home? A portable air compressor that most people probably keep in there car. I spent $85 on this air compressor and now I have nothing to show for it. ... show more

Not as compact as some other products out there, but it fills up my tires with relatively good speed. It's been great to be able to hook this thing up and fill my tires to recommended pressure in just a couple of minutes ... and turn off that damn "low pressure" sign that comes on in my Toyota oh ... so ... often. ... show more

I bought one of these about 2 years ago and the unit has performed flawlessly, until just a few days ago. The motor started making a strange noise and the unit failed to add air to the tire. I contacted customer service mostly just to see if it was something that could be repaired inexpensively. In a response to my email, Kate told me that if I would send a video of what was happening, that they would probably be able to help me. I sent the video 2 days ago and was informed the next day (yesterday) that a new inflator would be sent and that I should receive it in about 5 days. I actually received the new one today. Needless to say, I was very surprised at not only the quick response from the manufacturer, but the replacement was approved, shipped, and received in just 2 days. That does not happen a lot these days. As for the product itself I love the convenience of having three sources of power... ac, dc with a cigarette lighter plug, and rechargeable battery. The new unit seems to be even faster than the old one. Maybe it's just me though. Anyway, it's good to have an inflator available again and I appreciate Worksite standing behind their products. I am going to check out other products made by this company as I need power tools in the future. ... show more

Nothing is more of a hassle than paying $1.50 at the gas station to re-inflate your tires. The added hassle of using a tire pressure gage is more annoying. With this device you can eliminate both. Nevermind that inflator for air mattress and other devices, the ability to accurately inflate your tires is enough reason to get this. ... show more

The pump, both for tires and things like mattresses, is very fast. The gauge is accurate for tires and the pump stops when pressure is reached. I have only used this with the rechargeable battery, haven't needed to connect it to a car power plug yet.

This is a nice little compressor as long as you plug it in or use the battery, but I can't get it to work with 12V no matter how many cars I try it on. The battery worked well until it died, and I can't find the charger and leaving the compressor plugged in does not charge the battery, so now that feature is useless too. At least I can still use it in my driveway but I'm pretty disappointed. ... show more
