Draws just as well as the original S pen on our Samsung Galaxy S9+. I found it easier than the S pen to draw very light strokes consistently. Without the side button, but with an eraser "button". No S9 series tablet was listed in the included instructions. It stopped at S8, but S9 does work. It does not stay in the magnetic holder built into the S9. The included tips are blunter and firmer than the S pen but write just as well once they are firmly seated. Both the tip and eraser rattle a little, especially if something taps the pocket clip, giving it a cheap feeling. Tried with Krita, PenUp, Ibis X, Clip Studio Paint, Note. Some apps remember the eraser and apply it automatically, some you need to manually select the eraser first. No apps allow drawing with 2 pens at once as far as I could tell. The eraser has its own hover point independent of the tip, which is nice. But the eraser does not activate upon initial contact with the screen. You must push it down hard enough to push the eraser button. Scrubbing that across the $1k screen makes me nervous. Screen protectors killed the fingerprint unlock, so they had to go. Apps like Note just delete the entire stroke when you press the eraser to screen, eliminating some scrubbing, but also control. Absolutely none of the apps I tried would distinguish between the S pen and the Remarkable 2 and assign them independent brushes. That was the feature I was hoping would work, but did not. I will sometimes misplace my S-Pen. I love having this with my pens/pencils so I always have it handy. It has a home that it lives in and I appreciate the extra tips. I wish there was one for Apple Devices, my mom would love it!
