  • Good quality, easy to read for aging eyes
Size: 35MM Color: Stainless Steel/White/Silver-Tone
Bought this for my 80 y/o father who has poor eyesight. He is very pleased with the watch, looks nice, easy to read face, elastic band makes for easy on & off. Keeping time well. Overall good watch for the price.

  • Surprisingly high-quality watch for the price
Size: 35MM Color: Black/White/Silver-Tone
Watch is easy to set up and definitely seems high-quality, with the caveat that I've only used it for a couple of weeks so far. Looks nice - don't think you'd be able to look at it and tell with a glance that it's only a $37 watch (or $50 - I think that's the original price based on the timex website listing). I got the 35mm diameter one, and when I opened the box I thought it was going to be too small, but when I put it on it actually looks very proportional and appropriately sized. The only possible downside is the ticking, which I'm not used to as someone who hasn't worn a watch in a while - it's very quiet & not noticeable most of the time, but when I'm in a quiet setting it can be slightly distracting sometimes. ... show more

  • Perfect for my personal needs
Size: 35MM Color: Blue/Blue/Silver-Tone
Didn't want anything fancy or complicated. Haven't even set the date. Just wanted something that was handy to check the time without constantly looking at the phone. The night light is perfect as well. Easy to read with a perfect band that's infinitely and comfortably adjustable. Also reasonable enough that won't sweat use and abuse, or losing it. Subjectively functional for what I personally want in a watch. ... show more

  • Lasted less than a year, but enjoyed it when it worked.
Size: 35MM Color: Black/White/Silver-Tone
I would give 3 1/2 if I could. Bought it to keep timing in the restaurant work. I didn't need / want anything fancy because it would be used as a tool and at the price point I wouldn't be heartbroken if it got scuffed or broken: and that's exactly what it did. Pros: -Keeps the time with a large print face. Very easy to read at a glance -Accurate, no noticeable drift until DST at least -Just a standard basic watch - not flashy. Does being basic really well. Though minimalist it does look nice and not gimmicky. Won't clash with any basic wear. -Doesn't scratch easily Cons: -Backlight stopped working within about a month. I didn't do anything that I know of to damage it. I didn't really care about the feature so it didn't bother me. -One of the highest criticisms I have personally is that the included leather strap dried out and cracked horribly. The cracks in the leather made it impossible to sanitize/clean due to ingress leaving the watch band smelling less than savory though I did wear it 24/7 only taking it off to swim/shower. The straps are replaceable but at $20 (from Timex), it doesn't really make sense to. -Very much not water resistant. It has died around 5 times, due to handwashing, very brief dunks into buckets and even steam. Each time I would have to take the back off, remove the battery and let air dry. To it's benefit it did restart each time, though the last time I performed this the pin holding the strap broke. As per the previous point, it doesn't make sense to replace the band if they cost $20 and a new watch cost $30. -Some might find the action loud, but I got used to it Conclusion: It's a watch. It keeps time well and presents it well, everything else is pretty meh. It doesn't have a nice band, so replace that upfront if you're so inclined, or don't plan to wear it 24/7 without it cracking if you're active. I wouldn't expect the backlight to work very long for most people. Don't get this even near water or it will stop. I give it 4 stars because I enjoy the largeprint face and it's design but would give 3 1/2 if it were an option. I liked it enough to give the Timex Expedition a try - it has a cloth strap, a similar face and is more water resistant. The EasyReader leans more toward an "old man" piece - something that expects light wear - more than something for someone more apt to put stress on it. ... show more

  • This Watch Is Perfect
Size: 35MM Color: Black/White/Silver-Tone
My new Timex Watch keeps perfect time, is easy to read, and looks great. This is the 4th watch I've bought, returned the first 3, and I'm so happy with this watch. It's sturdy, and just press the button and it lights up. I'm so glad I found it.

  • Easy to Read, Very Comfortable with a Smaller Case (35mm)
Size: 35MM Color: Black/White/Silver-Tone
This is my fourth Timex watch. I have an Expedition Scout with a Leather Strap and two Fairfield Chronograph 41mm in different colors. I chose the Easy Reader because it’s smaller (35 millimeter) and very easy to read. I must admit it’s taking me awhile to get use to the smaller case, but getting comfortable with it. All my other watches have larger cases. While I have an iWatch and Omega Seamaster, the Timex watches are my go to watches for everyday use working around the house and yard. While they are inexpensive, they keep accurate time, look good and last for years. ... show more
