I had to decide if I could do more than 16 Gig of ram. That is all my i7 board can handle, as I read and have not tried to add in any of the old 2 GB ram sticks as I still have 2 empty slots and 4 of the 2 GB sticks left over. But these new ram sticks did the trick, lowered the load on the memory down to about 30% from 75 to 80$ previously. Does not seem to boot up faster, but I do have a solid state 500 GB drive and that caused me to boot up in under 20 seconds so i can't complain. ... show more

I was pissed that the packaging from amazon was terrible leading to the ram hitting each other in shipment but they work and my old PC is running a lot smoother. My only regret is that I didn't get 4. Newer games run smoother with more dedicated ram. Darktide, Sandstorm, Battlefield 2042

I now rock 4 sticks of 8gb. 32gb total. The other 2 sticks are 8gb a piece of the same specs (10666) but from another brand (patriot). This worked independently AND along with the other pair.
