My motherboard should be able to handle 4000Mhz RAM but the fastest I've been able to get these to run is 2800Mhz. Anything faster causes instability and crashing. Id also suggest making sure you have sufficient cooling (i.e. case fans) as they do not have heatsinks and they run fairly warm. But they were inexpensive and in practice, I don't necessarily need them to run at 3200. You may have a different experience. ... show more
