Purchased this a couple days ago and installed it today in my Synology DS224+ running DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 3. I had an extra couple sticks of RAM from a laptop upgrade previously which did not work either. That lead me to realize that you need Dual Rank RAM for the NAS which lead to this order. This RAM is listed as Dual Rank and I confirmed that is what I ordered and received. Installed and got the same result as the RAM I had laying around, which is a perpetual blinking blue power light. Reinserted many times, rebooted many times, tried everything I could but only removal of the RAM stick let the NAS boot. I did confirm that the RAM works in a laptop just to rule that part out before returning it, and it worked properly. I also let it run with the blinking light for a long time 20 minutes or so, just to see if that mattered, it didn't. I purchased this RAM, expecting to get model: ‎76HN26NUS1R which is what is listed currently in the item description text but instead got 76TT26NUS2R8. The 76HN model is confirmed to work according to a Synology NAS thread in Reddit, which I trust is probably correct. The 76TT model seems like it should work also, but it did not on my device. To be clear, I can't rule out the possibility that my brand new NAS has a defective memory slot, so that could be the cause. I'm not willing to spend $80+ to buy a Synology branded 4GB (!) stick to find out and do not have other sticks that are compatible at the moment. ... show more

Got a preowned HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini from eBay a while back to act as a NAS and home server for my home network. It only came with 8GB of RAM, though, which proved limiting when running TrueNAS on it and using ZFS storage (the ZFS cache eats up half of your system RAM). Got this kit as an upgrade so I could have some breathing room and potentially run some VMs on that hardware. It took a little finagling to get these sticks into the memory slots, as the sockets on the G3 didn't want to let me install the top stick properly (this is a fault with the G3, not this memory). After getting it in, the machine booted up perfectly fine with both sticks detected and running at 2400 MHz (the max for the i5-6500T that I have). At some point in the future I plan on upgrading to an i5-7500T, which should let me run this memory at the max speed of 2666 MHz. I'll update this if I have any issues with that, but until then I'm satisfied with this so far. ... show more

I had some issues getting it delivered through Amazon, and they delivered an empty envelope, but they delivered it the next day without issue. If you are familiar with working on computer mother boards, putting RAM memory in his very simple. These memory chips were no different, as they installed quickly and very easily. The price was decent and in the week or so they have been installed, I have had no issues. There are very stable, so I would recommend this brand to anyone without reservation. ... show more
