Definitely a break in period with these. Initially they feel great when you first put them on. But as they shape to your feet you get some push back from the shoe and they start to feel a little restrictive in the toe box. They’re very cute, but if you want a little space in the toe box maybe go up a half size. After the break in period they are roomy, your heel can slide out without socks, and toe box is still a bit of a tight fit though. ... show more

I previously ordered the same pair in black. They are a tad snug but stretch after wearing once or twice. When I received my first pair, I considered ordering a half size up. I am very glad that I did not because they would’ve been too big and my heels would slip out of the shoe when walking (after they stretched). This shoe is heavier with a bulky rubber sole unlike doc martens heavier plastic sole (for comparison purposes). I get compliments when worn. These shoes go well with jeans, casual slacks and some dresses with matching tights. Clearly, I love them since this is my second pair. ... show more

They’re such cute shoes and I wear them all the time! True to size and best worn with thick socks or they can slip off a bit since the shoes are a bit weighted. You won’t have to worry about this at all if you have naturally wide feet.
