Definitely worth the money. My feet keep warm in outside freezing cold and they have good grip. The composite toe is noticeably lighter than steel toe so standing and waking for long periods of time is better.

These boots look nice and have good quality, but they’re extremely uncomfortable. I’ve been wearing these for 4 nights now and these are very stiff and needed to be broken into. Even after breaking them in the first night the boots were still hard and uncomfortable, despite me buying half a size bigger to make sure I have space. My toes are in tremendous pain wearing these boots and I need to take pain medicine and soak my feet in Epsom Salt. Do not buy these boots, not worth the money. ... show more

For the price, I believe these are the best work boots you can buy. They are comfortable, looks great, and protect your toes. If they feel a little tight at first, I suggest wearing thick socks for about a week to stretch the boot out. Picked these up on sale for Black Friday. The size, according to their size chart is incorrect. If you are a women's 8, you need to order the men's 6.5 and NOT the size 6. In case anyone is wondering what the M and W stands for with shoes and boots, it is MEDIUM and WIDE. The width. It is NOT men/women. That is true for every brand of shoe/boot/sneaker. I ordered 4 pairs of Tims this year. None of them came with the leather hangtag that has always come on every single pair of Timberlands I have ever purchased in the last 30 years. On all of my previous pairs, they have always failed after the soul became separated/unglued. So, to keep them in shape and prevent that, never keep them in the garage, patio, or your car. The heat will ruin them. The cold may possibly too, but I live in a warm climate so I can only attest to heat damage. Keep them inside your home. Even though the sole separated, I still got almost 10 years out of them. For the price, these are good and I probably would have kept them if I also didn't order the women's Direct Attach Pro boots too. Now those are COMFY. These, not so much. But if you have nothing else to compare them to, they are ok. Especially if you can put your own insoles in them. If there is only a $20 price difference between the 2, go with the direct attach instead. I don't work construction and I never have. I just love Timberlands. I wear them doing yard work and mowing the lawn, digging when gardening, and anything else I may be doing around the house. In the past 30 years they have kept my feet warm and dry from snowstorms up North and standing in deep puddles. I tried to wear these to work, but they were against the 'office dress code.'
