I've been wearing the 50506 Lace-to-Toe boot for years in men's 7 M. This boot is about as close as I could get. If you are crossing over to women's sizes, use traditional conversion (7M = 9W) - NOT the Timberland Pro conversion (7M = 8.5W). Length isn't the issue; these are narrow even for a wide size. The sole is quite different from the 50506. It has a higher heel and the lugged sole. A nice advantage of these over the 50506 is they are waterproof. Haven't had to test this yet. There is not enough space in the toe area. I even tried a size up but there was still not enough space. This is disappointing because i used to always use Timberland for construction work and they are sturdy and well made. Now to make them look "sleeker" they have compromised fit, comfort and workability. ... show more

Comfortable right out of the box and very warm. I'd be in love with them if they didn't scuff so easily. They scuffed from touching each other when I walked, rubbing on carpet when I knelt down, and a tap on the top of my toe on my car door getting in. I loved the look and the feel and would have kept them if the composite toe didn't rub a blister on my pinky in just a few hours of wearing around my home! If this exact boot didn't have a composite toe I would own and wear a dozen pairs! Heart broken!
