I bought these shoes 5 months ago based on the reviews given to me by my plumbing buddies on the Timberland PRO Boots. I figured the the shoe version should be just as good right especially with the decent rating on Amazon. Well I'm actually happy with them, definitely lightweight, plenty of grip and the material used for the toe saved mine a few times from dropped lumber, granted it fell just less then a foot but still. Im a big guy and these shoes are very comfortable trust me that's important when your big. CONS : Heat build up when working in direct sun light, sometimes it felt like an open flame was aimed at my feet but if you're moving around it shouldnt be a problem - the inside heel has torn but I always slide my shoes on/off so it might just be operator error - 5 months isn't too long for stuff to start ripping but the shoe itself is sill very solid so that's a plus 🤷🏽♂️ All in all I'm very happy and I definitely recommend. I'll probably need a new pair in 1-2 months but since winter is coming I think I'll give the boots a shot and buy these again next summer. ... show more

Pros: Ordered a size 8 and it fits perfect, the shoe is true to size. I work at an automotive place and these shoes really are oil & slip resistant. At first I was worried that the shoe didn’t have mesh material for ventilation but after wearing it for a week my feet felt great and dry, because it didn’t have that mesh hole material I did notice when washing vehicles my shoe would have water on top but water wouldn’t soak though I’m amazed!! Shoes felt strong and sturdy, it hugs your feet well and feels like it stabilizes my ankle from any injuries. Insert soles are great, 12 hours a day and I get by. ... show more

These are some good pair of shoes. Super comfortable. I'm on my feet for 12-14 hours a day. I use them for work. Lots of walking. My feet don't hurt anymore. 2 down falls I have is the price of the shoe. (I understand paying for quality, but $100+ for sneakers is a bit much. Secondly the section where the heal is completely wore though to the plastic backing. Within 2 months all the soft heal cushion rolled up into fabric rope. Now it's super uncomfortable. Maybe some heel inserts would fix this. ... show more

Some of the worst shoes I’ve ever owned, might work if you have a desk job or food service but certainly not for walking on concrete. Tread is interesting and provides a stable grip on most surfaces. Bought a 1/2 size larger to accommodate thick socks but even with thin socks the fit is good. Flex is nice on the sole. Sheds water pretty well. We will see how long they hold up. Timberland products have lasted 8-10 years
