I've been buying Ariat boots for more than 10 years, then found a deal on some Timberland's and tried them. 2 pair of lace-up boots and really liked them, so I decided to try these pull on boots as my Ariats were starting to fail. I took these out of the box to try them on just for size verification and didn't want to take them off! I wore them for about 8 hours after that and still didn't want to take them off. 😁 The fit is a little different than the Ariats for me. With Ariats (and most other shoes) I wear an 11EE. All of my Timberland's are 11.5 D. These are extremely comfortable right out of the box! I always buy shoes that are comfortable right away but there's still that little break-in period. These are about the most comfortable out-of-the-box fit boots I've ever had! 👍👍 Now if I can get FB to stop putting all of the shoe ads in my face! 😆😆

Pressure point causes pain

My first pair of Timberland Pro boots were comfortable on the first day. Working on the farm in all kinds of weather and lots of water contact to the boots resulted in the boots only lasting a year before the bottom tread separated from the boots. Now that I am at the lakes and not as much water exposure to the boots, but still a lot of walking to do, I thought I would try another pair because of how comfortable the 1st pair was. But I am disappointed because first time wearing and walking the dog, the boot had a rubbing point on my left ankle bone and I wasn’t able to wear them the whole day. My second attempt to walk in them was less painful with not as much of a pressure point, but now the pressure point is on both right and left ankle bones. I am hoping they will eventually break in so no pain from walking in them. Just too bad because my first pair were so comfortable and no break in was required so I was able to wear them all the time, in all seasons.

Don’t use the boot straps to put on your boots…

Zero for customer service. First try on, right out of the box, boot strap ripped off. Support said to go through timberland. They won’t accept warranty or even a discount reimbursement because they were purchased through Amazon and not through timberland or authorized dealer . Never had a “work” boot break before actually working in them.
