Description

The classic TiTAN work boot, with our ergonomically-designed PowerFit Comfort System, is ready to protect and cushion your feet during long days on the job. Starting with Premium Timberland full-grain, waterproof leather uppers we added an internal waterproof membrane for maximum waterproof protection. These alloy safety-toe boots also feature cement construction for flexibility, electrical hazard protection, a breathable footbed, a lightweight, cushioning midsole, and a non-marking rubber outsole that is heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant for enhanced traction. Plus, their breathable, moisture- wicking lining is made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic.

The boots fit my narrow feet (size 11.5 B) very well. This boot was recommended for a narrower foot and indeed, they fit my feet perfectly. I do not really see how a wide normal or wide foot would fit in this boot. I love the high tie-up too because it provides a great amount of support around my ankles. The soles have a shallow tread and I would have liked the tread to be deeper. But they will meet my needs. They provide really no traction in snow and ice which is to be expected, but again, I think a deeper tread would help. I need to get them on the trails in the woods and see how the work there. Note these do not have any insulation so you need to plan to wear warm socks. I find my toes have plenty of room which is great for circulation to keep my feet warm in the snow. I have used them twice so far with snowshoes and they work great for this application. ... show more

I work doing paving and milling. Hot asphalt is hard on boots. I can get a full season out of these boots. They are comfortable right out of the box. Many times I’ve been working with young guys on our crew who were miserable with sore and blistered feet. I told them “order yourself Timberland Pro model 47019 and get them overnighted if you need to”. Instant relief, they always thank me. Comfortable, durable, waterproof. I’m ordering probably my 7th or 8th pair right now. If I could change one thing about then it would be; I’d like to be able to get them in a flat sole without all the grooves in the tread because all the grooves collect asphalt and can be a problem. ... show more

Compared to all other 8" safety toe boots I've tried, this is by far the best boot I found. No break-in required: I wore them a full day walking around on concrete with no issues at all. My feet felt better at the end of the day than with any other boot I've tried. I have flat feet and need lots of arch support. The Titan provides more than any other boot. I still have to add my Dr. S #440, which makes a great fitting boot fit my foot even better. Speed laces are very important for me to get the boot tight enough on both the lower and upper. If the less expensive Direct Attach had speed laces it would have been my boot of choice (equally comfortable sole). I think a major factor in the better fit was getting a medium width instead of W-Mart's typical wide sizes. I drove around to all the shoe stores and sporting goods stores in a 25 mile radius trying to find the right fit. The few Timberland Pro's I found (only one Titan, but it was 6" and a half size too small) kept telling me that if I found the right fit, Timberland had the most comfortable sole and the 8" Titan would provide the best upper. I was not disappointed. I have no doubt I will strongly consider another pair when these wear out, maybe even sooner (just in case some bright corporate person decides Titan 8" Safety Toe should be discontinued). ... show more

I have been wearing this work boot for a long time. They quit carrying them at my local boot shop so now I have to find them on the internet, so far I have been able to find them, but I do think they have been discontinued. They are very light and comfortable for a steel toe boot. Only a few more years till I can retire, so I have been ordering 2 pair at a time and should get me to retirement. ... show more

Always liked the Pro helix until they changed them to the black rubber toe and seemed to make the toe box bigger. Felt like Mickey Mouse when I wore them. The titans are the closest to what the helix used to be. Light weight and comfortable!!! Hope they keep this style around for a while
