Description

Our all-purpose, waterproof Switchback men's hikers are ruggedly built for demanding work where your safety and comfort are key. We combined composite safety toes with electrical hazard protection and our Anti-Fatigue Technology footbed that absorbs shock and returns energy back to your feet so you can tackle the toughest days on the job. Their coated waterproof leather uppers offer abrasion-resistance from above, while an internal waterproof membrane provides maximum waterproof protection. There's also a breathable, moisture- wicking lining made of ReBOTL material containing at least 50% recycled plastic, flexible cement construction, a fiberglass shank for structural support, and a lightweight, cushioning EVA midsole for all-day comfort. Traction and durability are enhanced with their heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking rubber outsoles.

However, after just two months of regular use on the job site, the boots began to show signs of wear and tear. Despite only being worn for 30 minutes each day, the material ripped, leaving me extremely disappointed in the product’s quality. While the boots initially provided decent comfort and protection, their inability to withstand regular wear and tear on the job site raises serious concerns about their durability. I expected better from a brand like Timberland, known for its rugged footwear. I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider alternative options with better durability and longevity. Additionally, I hope Timberland will address these issues and offer a solution, such as a refund or replacement, for those who have experienced similar problems. Overall, I cannot recommend these boots based on my experience, and I urge Timberland to take action to rectify this quality issue. I visit projects sites for reviews and wear boots for maybe 4 hours at a time, with a lot of walking and standing. So far I'm happy with these. They're lighter than other boots (composite toe and shank). I have multiple hiking boots and shoes and other shoes that are all 9 1/2's. These seem to run large. After my first wear, I debated about returning for 9's but with that being a bit of a hassle, I opted to wear heavy hiking socks. To do it again, I would get 1/2 size smaller. The media could not be loaded. After a week of using the boots they already came off and I am a truck driver, I don't work in construction where the boots can be damaged, you can see the photos, they are almost new and the bottom part came off

If you've worn any of the previous boots from timberland similar to these, you'll find that these one's are made extremely cheap. Really uncomfortable. They even sacrificed one of the lace crossover points which creates more pressure on the ankle. The soles are hard. My 18 month old Tim's have more cushion than these. ... show more
