These are great but they are stiff straight out of the box and need to be broken in. I suggest wearing them casually at home where you can easily change out of them the first time you wear them. After doing that a couple of times you will be able to wear them out for the day and eventually to work. I have worn them in the rain and my feet stay perfectly dry. They are also good on slightly colder days in the spring and fall. Timberland PRO shoes always have good cushiony insoles. These work boots are some of the best I've ever worn. They feel, fit very comfortable. I rated 4 stars because of the Toe guard material rubs off fairly easy after a good toe scraping. Other than that I would definitely buy again.

The boot is comfortable after a short break in period. The upper boot should taller. The strings tie in the front joint between shin and foot, so have to lace them loose. This is uncomfortable for ankle support.
