I was torn between loving or hating these boots . I spent some time reviewing comments and comparing to other highly rated brands . I work construction and I am on my feet for hours a day. I needed a tough but comfortable pair of boots . I decided to make the switch from laces to pull on boots . I knew there was a comfort and wear curve to adjust to being pull on boots, so I gave the boots a few months of wear before I rated them . My fist knock was the recommended size , amazon recommended a size higher , this was not the case for me. The boots were an exact fit 10.5 was 10.5 . wasted time sending back the 11's for 10.5's. Next was the right boot. The boots had some serious firmness to the ankle area, this part rubbed the skin right off my ankle after on day of use. I tried a piece of duct tape ( thanks hvac guys) to my heal to cushion the wear. After a few days the leather part wore down and the boots were much more comfortable . After a few months of wear the boots are super comfortable all away around . I ended up installing a sole insert for planters fasciitis since the boots lay fairly flat . Left was slightly snugg but otherwise fit great! Good quality and extremely comfortable. My 3rd purchase of this brand of work boot. I can wear these all day and feet don't hurt. Only "issue" is the rubbing on my upper calf from top of boot but a taller sock will help. Will definitely buy these again and would recommend to anyone looking for good quality and comfort in and all day, non lace, work boot. ... show more

I've worn these for about a month now and I'm very happy with them. I typically wear a 10.5 wide so that's what I ordered in the boots and am still able to comfortable wear them with thick socks. I've never been a boot person but was tired of destroying tennis shoes at work. These seem to be holding up quite well so if I can get 8 months to a year out of them I'll say they're worth the money. ... show more

I bought them because of waterproof protection, For the first time in few months I step into water and they are leaking in few places and my feet socked in water. I wore them 45 days only and on day 46 it happened. I am so disappointed. I wear a 11-11.5 Wide in shoes and since I don’t like the semi snug feel of boots over top of foot I got a 12 Wide and boots feel great. A little wiggle room and some heel lift but very comfortable. So easy to kick off with the black grip thing on back of boot. I can see how they can scuff easily but again they are work boots. Tread on bottom is good, but will need to see how long it lasts. I already have a pair of Ariat boots so I figured I would go for timberland this go around since these true grit pro boots fit what I am looking for. Overall happy with purchase. ... show more

Just ok. They appear to be fairly well made. They are a work boot, with a steel toe, which makes them heavy, of course. They are average on comfort, which is not bad if you are not going to walk or stand for your whole day. I work ten hours shifts, standing running climbing kneeling, squatting , sit for lunch, lean for texting. These areSix hour boot at best. Fits pretty good. i noticed a hot spot on right foot near heel. mine were 12 reg. tight. Break in is needed. Hard to get on and off , especially off. The little leather loop at the back of there upper is worthless for pulling on , unless you have. tiny fingers. Would I buy again. No. ... show more
