Our Timberland PRO Powertrain Sport athletic work shoes offer lightweight performance, but they're all business when it comes to protection. Not only are they tough enough to handle working on your feet all day, they feature alloy safety toes, electrical hazard protection, and Anti-Fatigue Technology for all-day shock absorption and energy return. Their breathable linings are made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Plus, their outsoles are constructed of heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non- marking polyurethane for enhanced traction. Timberland set new industry standards for craftsmanship, durability and protection when it introduced an authentic, waterproof leather boot in 1973. We have spent a lot of money on shoes for my husband’s job as a mechanic. He is required to wear non slip with a steel toe. It doesn’t matter what brand we use, after 6 months they start to cause him pain. We were pleasantly surprised at how long these have lasted and still remain fairly comfortable. They are safe and so far (knock on wood) he has not slipped once at work. The heel height is just right for him as he hates the shoes that boost him. He said in those type he feels like he’s wearing high heels. I question how he knows what it’s like to wear high heels… Anywho of you go thru the fancy shoes quickly, get these instead. It’s got to be better to replace every 6-10 months than paying triple for shoes to last a year that are uncomfortable after 6 months. Then you have to buy orthotics etc. This is a way better value and they look good with pants or shorts. ... show more

Overall very comfortable. Definitely one of the best shoe purchases I’ve made in a while. I wear through shoes at work regularly and these are holding better than any other shoe I’ve had in the last couple of years. They are very comfortable and have tons of support. As other reviews have stated, they are a bit bulky. Definitely bigger than a normal shoe. But that is to be expected of a steel toe. I did knock a star down though, as the webbing on the top of the shoes are starting to tear a little, but the rest of the shoes are fine. Would definitely purchase these again. ... show more

These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I do a lot of walking at work, and my feet don't hurt after wearing them a full shift. Only drawback is they constantly come untied.

    • No good.. Even for light use!!!! UPDATE!!!
Pease see updated review below...Less than 5 months after purchasing and light use, the soles in the Timberland Pro have completely split.. I'm sitting here in my work van with soaked and wet socks after some light rain... These actually we're comfortable, fit well, and had a decent look to them but unfortunately the quality of the soles are complete garbage.. Going to try and get a refund because no boot should disintegrate in less 5 months...UPDATE..Timberland replaced my pair hassle free and More than 1 year after value heavy use the soles have held up without any issues at all...Because Timberland stood by this product and gave me a new hassle free replacement that has held together well since, I'm changing my score to 5 stars..it seems they have fixed the issue with the sole material...will buy again without fear of getting stuck with a faulty product..Timberland does the right thing and stands behind their product.. ... show more

    • The most comfortable Safety shoes you will ever wear
I noticed these boots on a friend at job site. He had the Blue spider pattern that initially caught my eye. From first glance, they appear to be regular tennis shoes. I was surprised to learn they are actually safety footwear, with steel toe and all! I immediately jumped on here to look at reviews and check them out. After I saw the extremely positive reviews, I pulled the trigger. Along with the shoes, I ordered the extra padding soles that timberland offers. I have owned a lot of shoes and leather boots that I thought were comfortable. The bar has been raised. These shoes feel better than any Nikes or worn leather boots, Dr scholls inserts, you name it. You could go jogging in these things. It is absolutely perfect for the construction worker that is on their feet all day. It is like walking on a cloud. Fatigue is DRAMATICALLY reduced. My only minor complaint would be the no-slip soles on the shoes. They work as intended, but when walking on laminate tile, they tend to make a squishing sound that is a bit obnoxious, but not enough to even consider removing a star. These shoes ROCK ... show more

After reading the reviews I was nervous in my purchase. But I pulled the trigger and bought a pair. Today was the first day wearing them and all I have too say is WOW. Gives you the protection of a mid height boot but the comfort of a sneaker. Walking all day was a pleasure due to the max comfort them shoes give you. I’d definitely order them for everyday work, I am most likely going to purchase another pair for the future (even if they only hold up for 6-12 months) Worth the buy!! ... show more
