mount is made from fiber nylon, or high strength plastic. seems tough enough. the clamps they give you are too large to clamp the mount to a 2" bar. even with them tightened all the way down the mount still slides down the bar. pick up a set of hose clamps from the hardware store if your bar is smaller than probably 2.5" diameter. hardware store clamp just will not have the nice padding these have. the quick release works great. have not been out on the trails yet to see how ryugged it will be. will update if there are any issues (i head out in october 2024) note the fire extinguisher clamp max diamter is 101mm or about 4", however you must also include the mount in there so it will not fit a 4" bottle.

Does not fit a Polaris rzr as described. Will only fit a 2.5” + tube. A waste of money. Buyer beware

I am very pleased with the quality and design of this quick release mechanism. The heat shrink around the hose clamps and the included screwdriver really convinced me of the quality of this product.
