I bought this for 2 reasons: 1) Price and 2) Features. I am not sure you can find better for the money. It is small, well-built and performs its function well. I've only used for testing and 1 live event and everything worked seamless without any hiccups. I have used some economical capture cards in the past that would freeze and lose picture, but this one stayed steady and did not get very hot. It also includes a mic and headphone jack which is not common in this price range. If you are new to streaming or need a reliable backup capture card, it is hard to beat this deal.

First off I would like to say this is a elgato capture card killer for the MONEY. I wanted to test the card after a full 40 hours and I had no dropframes. Last night, I streamed for 8 hours with no drop frames running at 20% cpu. I would HIGHLY suggest pairing this with a usb 3.0 pass through cable for fast speeds since the one that comes in the box isn’t the best. Also, the hdmi cord isn’t so great but the card itself is prime. Use your own high speed hdmi cables and you’re good to go! Promise you, if you’re wanting to stream and don’t want to spend $150 on the capture card, this is the BEEZNEEZ. Lag?: no Heat?: some but normal Plug and play?: yes Obs/stream labs?: yes Hook up to ps5,Xbox?: yes 10/10

It works fine as a regular capture card as long as you are OK with 1080/60 video. However, if you are thinking about using this to use your Quest 3 as a monitor for gaming, the input lag is too much. It's not terrible, maybe 100ms (just guessing), but that's more than enough for anything that requires quick reflexes and precise timing to be almost unplayable.

I was able to connect my meta quest 3 headset to my Switch! I used the new meta quest hdmi connect and cenmate capture card and it works just as expected. Very pleased! I did need one more hdmi cable but that was not a big deal.

Ive never used one before and this was easy to use and setup. I wanted to capture some gameplay at 1080 and this did exactly that. I did use my own hdmi cables instead of supplied and never had any issues with sound on the recordings. I like the over build and quality of the device and ease of use.
