The boots were decently comfy. I had to have steel toe boots with met guards for work, composite was acceptable though. Other boots' met guards would always dig into the top of my feet, but these were much better. The lightness of the composite was also very nice. The boots are a very tight fit when you first start using them, not much leeway on the laces because of it, but they eventually loosen up. They didn't last me that long, maybe a year and a half, but this was also daily use with a good amount of walking. ... show more

These boots feel absolutely amazing! These are probably my most favorite pair of work boots/shoes that I've ever owned (Even though I've only worn them for 2 days so far) but they feel great and I wish that I didn't wait so long to pull the trigger on this purchase. I will say that I took the recommendation of another customer who left a review, I don't remember his name but (the guy who bought 6 pairs) and I also purchased the 12 wide, even though I have never bought wife shoes or boots before and they fit perfectly! I also took his recommendation on those Dickies Kevlar Fiber socks and just the pairing of those 2 together were amazing! Then I took it a step further (no pun intended) and bought the Dr Scholl's Gel Insoles (trimmed em to fit) and that made the entire experience EVEN better! So to make a long story short, if you are on the fence.....just do it, buy these and you won't regret it! I don't think I can buy any other steel toe besides these ever again. Shoe quality is great, functionality is great, the value you get for the price is absolutely worth it and I also really do like the style. I will be wearing these even casually (I have 3 huskies and I wear them while I take em on their walks) oh and I'm on them about 9 to 10 hours a day mon-fri. I am a install technician and I install everything from mobility ramps outside to chairlifts inside of customers homes. (Everyone's yards are different) ... show more
