I've worn out several pairs of these over the years. For comfort, you can't beat them; especially for a safety shoe. The two things that need improving are traction on wet or oily surfaces and durability of the sole. If you step in out of the rain on a freshly waxed floor, be careful! If you walk out on a factory floor and there is any oil or liquid, be careful! A pair generally lasts me just over a year wearing them to the office five days per week and occasionally out on the factory floor.     • Good Boots for the Price
Good boots. I've had them for a couple months now, and I must say I'm impressed. Quality is good, fit was good, and I can wear them all day with no blisters. The steel toe is a very nice touch, even though I primarily use them for hiking. Even with the steel toe, they aren't very heavy. They are completely waterproof. I tested it thoroughly in a mile and a half river walk, and the only times I got wet was when it was deeper than the boot. The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because putting them on and taking them off can be a real pain. You have to loosen the shoe lace almost half way to the toe to get enough clearance to get your foot in it. And even then, it can be a little painful getting them on as you have to scrap your heel and ankle across the back of the boot. Also, the rim on the top is a little stiff, and lacking in padding, but that doesn't make to big a difference except when putting the boots on. It doesn't bother me a whole lot when I'm on the trail. And hey, for only $90, its hard to complain too much. All in all, 4/5. Good boots for not a whole lot of cash. ... show more

I bought these shoes for my husband, he works at a facility maintenance company. Basically he works outside most days. At first it wasn’t sure about these boots because they are different from what he usually purchases, which is plain black boots. I had him try them for a day at work and he was so impressed with them, it differently changed his mind. He said they are differently light weight for being steel toe boots, he said that they were so comfortable and breathable, they are waterproof, slip resistant in the rain. He doesn’t come home after a 8 hour shift complaining that his feet are hurting because of the steel toe boots. Sorry, I should’ve taken the photos before he started to wear the boots, but at least they are doing what they are made for. ... show more

Very poor quality. Not like the Old Timberland anymore. Stitches brake everywhere and the boots are falling apart after 4 month.
