These boots are well-made, as you expect with Timberland products. My son wears them for his job and says that they are very comfortable - they didn’t create any hot-spots or pressure points that caused pain or blisters, so essentially, he didn’t really need to “break them in.” The steel toe has already saved his toes a few times from heavy/solid objects and the reinforced layer at the ends of the toes keeps the boot looking good and not scuffed up. They are durable, provide solid support - especially to his ankles, grip surfaces well without slipping, and run true to size. He doesn’t have wide feet or any issues generally when buying a pair of shoes as far as fit goes, and these were no different. If these ever wear out I would get him another pair right away.

I still got these pair of boots! I am about an upgrade soon so more likely will be getting these pair again. Comfort is great but always try and add an insole for arch support. Quality is durable and the price fits my budget. True to size firs me good.kind of slippery during harsh or heavy snow but, not that bad. And they fit my style of clothing for work.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had these same shoes before. They were comfortable, lightweight and water proof. I accidently threw my first pair away and I thought I could use other shoes to do yard work but I was wrong. They are a little highly priced but you will get your money's worth as long as you don't accidently throw them away.

This review is given after a year of wearing these 7 days a week and ordering another pair to replace the 1st ones. I purchased these boots as i work in a manufacturing environment. The moment i put my foot in one i was sold. They are ridiculously comfortable i wear them as my go to footwear no matter where i go. I mainly to a lot of walking round the shop floor in a very oily environment. They have held up well and i plan on using the original pair as an outside boot at my house. The soles have shown signs of but i would say any shoe after being worn this much would. I was happy to see they were still in stock and available at a cheaper price than i bought a year ago. The touches of leather are nice, but they mesh also allows them to be breathable. I used leather conditioning on them before ever wearing them and the overall appearance is still good. They fit very true to size, and I would say are probably a little on the wide end of a shoe. The only critique that i have is the very first pair i purchased had to be returned due to the sole separating from the boot, but the replacement pair was perfect and the new pair doesn't seem to have this issue. That is the only reason i am docking a start from these boots. But with the amazon return policy it was a breeze/

Comfortable boots, this is a nice and light weight boots for if you are a foreman or superintendent but it’s not a heavy duty boots and if you are a pipe layer than maybe no.

Just bought this shoes 2 weeks now. Size 12, fit is perfect. Extremely comfortable, very light weight, I drive with it as well. Laces up easily, provides enough support. By the way I work in construction. So far so good. Will give another review in a couple months
