Man, I’m so sad that I’m disappointed with this table. It’s such a good quality, heavy duty, beautiful table. Took 5 minutes to assemble. Nice and heavy, solid wood bottom, heavy white top (not wood). I got it a week ago, and over the last couple of days I’ve started to notice how easily the top scratches and stains. It’s got some kind of soft finish to it that absorbs every little scratch and color. I find if coffee drips or a crumb is spilled, I’m having to get out the magic eraser to get it off. The scratches are just there to stay. I included photos but it’s very hard to see what I’m talking about on camera. I see an eventual future of attempted to lacquer the top of this thing. :-( ... show more

This side table did not match the description. The table top is more of a creamy yellow instead of white and does not match my decor at all. You can see the color compared to my white baseboards in my photos. The one I opened also had a ding on one corner (see picture). I bought two because the listing stated free returns, so I thought I had nothing to lose. Now I am trying to return them due to the inaccurate description and damage and they are trying to charge me for shipping as well as a 20% restocking fee. Absolutely insane. ... show more

We ordered four of these tables: two end tables, a coffee table, and a console table. These are outstanding tables for the price. 1) They are super easy to assemble. It's so simple the instructions are not needed. 2) They came amazingly well packed. It took longer to unpack them and stow the packaging than to assemble them. 3) The quality is excellent - not just for the price but even for furniture multiple times the price. The only place I found any flaws on any of our tables was on the underside of the top of the tables where you wouldn't see the blemish except during assembly. I want to point something out about the design and packaging of these pieces that is small but demonstrates the thought that when into these tables. Each table (all three versions) has only four major parts: the top, two side legs and the bottom shelf. Assembly entails attaching twp bolts/washers to hold each leg to the top and then dropping the bottom shelf (everything is upside down during assembly) into position and attaching it to the legs with four more bolts/washers. It's almost impossible to do anything wrong. More to my point, though: in virtually all the furniture I have assembled, the parts come randomly dumped into a bag or separated by part in little plastic compartments. In this case the variety of parts is very limited, so they're all in a bag, but rather than just being dumped there the bolt, washer, and split washer are all pre-assembled in the way they need to attach to the table. It only saves a minute during assembly, but there was no need for the manufacturer to do this except to help the assembler. There is an odor for the first few days after the tables are unpacked, but we didn't find it offensive. The only other (non-)complaint we have is that there is a lot of packaging. That's good for safe delivery, but it does mean there is quite a bit of material to dispose of. ... show more

I ordered this table hoping that it might do 'OK' in my space - and it exceeded expectations! The top is a sturdy / heavy material and although I am worried about future staining, it appears as though it would be easy to clean. I personally hate the look of faux marble, so the fact that this table brings a bright and airy look via the white top is a huge plus - WITHOUT looking like cheap vinyl! The color of the wood is beautiful, it isn't cool, but isn't extremely warm either and worked great with various other wood toned furniture in my apartment. The size / height is good as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking at a table similar to this in style. ... show more

Update; March 2021. After two years of heavy use this table is still going strong. It looks perfect still. We take so little care and it just doesn't scratch or stain. Such a winner! **** I am so happy with this coffee table! I was set on getting real marble and originally bought this same style table from West Elm for triple the price which didn't work out. I was back at square one. I was hesitant about the Madison Park because of the painted top. But I love it! A lot! Such a nice creamy white color. It doesn't seem to require coasters, no spotting, no chipping. The walnut wood color is really beautiful. Although this is my 3rd table. The first two arrived dented in the corner. Somebody must have dropped the box even though they were well packaged. BUT, the 3rd try is the charm. It is perfect! Amazon was wonderful about returning the other two. Picked them up from my house. I've had this table three months now. It gets heavy use since it is in our family room with two adults and two frequent visiting grandkids ... show more

I can't say enough good things about this coffee table, it completely exceeded my expectations. It is sturdy and beautiful and it was very straightforward to assemble. My only complaint is the amount of packaging -- this thing was packed to protect against Armageddon. I have never seen so much styrofoam come out of a single box. Breaking down the boxes it came in and disposing of that and the styrofoam took three times as long as it took to assemble the table. I guess that's probably a good thing though, it arrived in excellent condition. The packaging part is annoying but this coffee table is amazing and I am so happy I bought it, it may be my new favorite piece of furniture. ... show more
