Safety features include asymmetrical steel toes and electrical hazard protection. Their breathable, moisture-wicking mesh linings are made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Plus, their lightweight, non-marking outsoles are made of slip- and abrasion-resistant, injection-molded EVA with an angled sidewall and Timberland PRO FLEX Technology anatomically positioned flex grooves for flexible traction.

I work in a 230,000sq ft manufacturing plant and run machinery all day. Concrete floors, standing the entire shift, and carrying parts back and forth. When I got these shoes, it was a complete game changer. My feet dont hurt after long shifts, the shoes are breathable and light, and they just feel like regular gym shoes. The insoles that come with them however are pretty thin so definitely buy your own insoles, I would recommend Dr. Scholls if you have similar work conditions to mine. I wear these at work manufacturing , management and safety team thought they were regular tennis shoes lol . Very comfortable , durable (I'm 6'4 245) have held up very nice . I don't think I'd get them in blue and white again but they definitely hold up well and I would recommend .

Product review: 4 stars... But that's to be determined. They do seem somewhat solid, but I work in the dirt, and I have concerns about their overall durability, so we'll see. The meshy breathable fabric was a huge draw for me because my boots are very protective, but not breathable at all, and it kills my feet in the heat. I estimate that these will not last longer than a few months at most simply judging by the way they look and completely untested in the field. Shipping review: Received quickly and within my expectations. Satisfactory. Service: Not only were the shoes received presumably not new (perhaps a refurb or return), but somehow the product shipped got mislabeled as the product that I ordered, so I got the wrong style. The shoes came out of the box pre-tied, with no inner packaging materials, with dirty crap all over the soles. I could get over all of that, but the fact that I ordered the DARK GREY WITH ORANGE Intercept shoes and got BLACK - an entirely separate style, and not what I needed - is my problem. I reached out to Timberland, who won't do anything about it because they won't touch Amazon orders (like nearly all first party sellers that use Amazon to fulfill their shipments), and in order to get that I did want, I have to ship them back to Amazon to get them replaced. Not only do I now not trust the system because of this mistake, because it might happen again if it happened once, it is simply a huge, frustrating hassle. Bottom line: I didn't get what I wanted. Yes, I know this is a first world problem, and I know how I sound, but when I pay a hundred dollars for something, it needs to be what I paid for. Yes, I can (and plan to) still wear them. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the shoes, as far as the product is concerned. However, I work out in the sun and the black is so much hotter than other colors in the summer heat. It seems like I simply traded one product with a problem for another with the same issue. I was hesitant to even make this order, so this whole ordeal just reaffirms to me that I should not order shoes online simply out of convenience again. I would rather take the time to go to a brick and mortar store and get what I want the first time. ... show more
