Not only are their mutilation-free, abrasion-resistant, ripstop nylon uppers tough enough to handle working on your feet all day, but our lightweight Intercept Mid athletic work sneakers come with their Timberland PRO 24/7 Comfort Suspension System technology that helps reduce foot fatigue by helping support your arch and cushioning every step. Safety features include asymmetrical steel safety toes, electrical hazard protection, electric shock- resistant soles, and steel, puncture-resistant plates. Their breathable, moisture-wicking mesh linings are made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled PET plastic. Utilizing Timberland PRO FLEX technology, durable stretch fabrics are incorporated with thick, slip- and abrasion-resistant, non-marking, injection-molded EVA outsoles that have anatomically positioned flex grooves so you get the full range of motion without resistance.

I loved these boots. I love the look. Super comfy from day one. The steel toe doesn't crowd my toes. They're also very light weight. I stand and walk all day at work and my feet feel great at the end of my shift. BUT, I only gave it 2 stars for this reason: they are a trip hazard and I fell down stone stairs at work and had to be transported to the hospital for evaluation. Just walking normally on a flat surface, the bottoms grabs whatever surface you're on and you will stumble. It's happened many times and my co-worker bought the same sure on my recommendation and he experienced the stumbling as well. That makes the shoe very dangerous and I found out first hand yesterday just how dangerous they can be. That said, unfortunately, I DO NOT recommend this boot. ... show more
