Leather is thick and tough, they may feel like they are a bit snug but I broke mine in pretty quickly. I don’t know what these other reviews are but I’m backing these boots. I’ve had so many different boots over the years, but these feel like the leather formed to my foot. Insole slightly molded and toe packed like it should. The most comfortable boots I’ve owned in awhile. My last two pair of moc toe boots were spaghetti sandwich sloppy by the end of the first week, and cost twice as much. Tbh both of them leaked too. The boots are looking great, the color is nice and they are well made. I would say true to size, usually I wear a EU 46 which equals to US12 and they fit perfectly fine and a re very comfy. Would definitely buy them again

Great boot. Pros: Actually waterproof. comfortable out of the box. I bought these and wore them for a week straight on a log work trip. They did really well with tons of walking and three or four airport transfers. I slept in them from Seattle to London. Look really sharp. Heel cup on the back is nice. They didn't set of the security alarms at TSA. Your mileage may vary, but i'm TSA Pre and hate taking off my boots. these didn't alarm when I walked through with them on. Easy to clean, still look good after a day of hard work (concrete, fencepost digging and lumber hauling). Cons: the 'tread' is flat. I get that is by design, but I found them to occasionally be slippery on smooth surfaces like marble or smooth airport walkways. Heavy mud sticks to them and you need to scrape them off. again, this is nit picking. but I found they picked up mud a little faster than my heavy tread style boots. I found them to be a little warm. this is a con for me, but most certainly would be a pro for many users. All in all, a great 'broke in out of the box' boot. Will buy again. My usual boot is the Timberland Pro 6" Titan soft toe, but I needed an actual waterproof winter boot this year. I am not disappointed at all. 4 stars simply because the tread is not quite what I needed. ... show more

I burn through 1-2 pair of these a year. At the price point it's hard to beat. My coworkers will buy a pair of boots for 300-500 dollars and they last a year, maybe two if they are lucky and don't work too hard in them, meanwhile I best the hell out of my boots with little to no maintenance and when they are too messed up i buy another pair. They are more comfy and have better grip than any danner or Irish setter or any other big expensive boot. Any other boots are stupid in my opinion. ... show more
