I had been on the hunt for waterproof winter boots that could withstand blizzards and slushy snow, and was pleased to find Sorels in my size. The boot can withstand the elements, but it is very bulky, wide, and heavy. The shape of the toe bed reminds me of Moon Boots; they are comically massive. The boot does not have a flattering or slimming width, but has a strong and sturdy base. As a city dweller, I have not walked long distances in these boots, but they do the trick for a morning commute or shoveling snow. ... show more

I really wanted to like these boots; they're warm and definitely would be good for Chicago winters. They were a little tight in the ankles which made them very hard to take on and off. They also are really heavy, I can't imagine walking around the city in these. I liked the style of the boots, but unfortunately I have to return them. ... show more

Warm and waterproof. It is really heavy and I really dont think its a womens size because it is so wide.
