From their premium Timberland seam-sealed, waterproof leather uppers with comfortable padded collars to their heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant rubber lug outsoles for enhanced traction, these steel-toe boots are ready to get to work. We also added electrical hazard protection and Anti-Fatigue Technology polyurethane footbeds for all- day shock absorption and energy return, plus breathable, moisture-wicking linings made of ReBOTL fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Modeled from Timberland's classic style work boot, the Direct Attach has it all and then some. With all of its comfort and hardworking technology, you would think this rugged leather boot had a mind of its own.

I wear these boots every single day, and I have for over a year now! They are very tough and very durable! The steel toe comes in very handy when I'm out with my horses, and the rugged tread on the bottoms ensures that I won't slip, even in the slipperiest of conditions. They are also waterproof, making them great for year-round wear. They are very comfortable, and quite stylish if you ask me. They are very heavy with the steel toe, but you get used to it very fast. These boots are great for working on your feet all day, they are great for sitting around and keeping your feet warm, they are great when you are hiking for hours, and even after a years amount of use, these boots still go strong every single day!

I got these boots for my boyfriend. He does body work and auto painting so he stands on the cold concrete all day They along with some good socks really keep his feet warm. In fact Christmas day he had to change shoes because his feet was too warm in the house. They are just a little wide but he has a narrow foot but they fit just fine Comfortable the first day he wore them. I would recommend these for sure

I'll start right off with what I didn't like and kept these from 5 stars so I can go into detail with why I still recommend them above any other boot I've worn. They are on the chunkier side in terms of sheer mass compared to some other steel-toes I've worn. The good thing about a less bulky boot is that you have greater ease moving in them and they feel more natural. There's also an aesthetic argument about the cartoonishness of big boots, however hopefully you're not thinking of steel-toes for the aesthetics. Also, having holes instead of hooks for the top 2 loops is a minor pain. You just have to lace-up every time you put them on. These boots are exceptionally comfy. They run a bit narrow, but they have excellent support and are tight without cutting off circulation or giving you bruises. I'd chalk this up to the extensive padding. I wore these boots all day the first time I had them and felt better than most good days in my old boots. The soles for these boots are thick. They'll give you 2 inches. If you're on the shorter side like me, it's a bit of a blessing. They're also secured against electrical surges so you don't get fried if a live wire drops on a treadplate you happen to be standing on. The grip is nothing short of excellent. I haven't had the chance to try it on snow or ice yet, but it holds on dead leaves and slick pavement. It makes the clunkyness bearable. They are also waterproof up to your ankle due to tight stitching/seams, and a sewn-in tongue. Doesn't seem helpful until that puddle was a little deeper than you thought. Whoops. These boots will ensure your socks are still warm and dry. When it's 37 out, that's kind of a big effin' deal as our VP once put it. The steel on the toe is thick and the weight gives you some comfort when you hold the boot in your hand. It will save your little piggies should you suffer the misfortune of having something heavy land on your foot. That's kind of the idea. On another note, on at least one instance in my life I was glad of having a pair of steel-toes as I sat at a bar with a friend in a rough area. The bouncers had metal detectors. We went back to the car and I dropped off my SOG Trident that I typically carry and my buddy dropped off his Smith and Wesson. Point is, in a pinch, a steel-toes are like brass-knuckles for your feet that can't get taken off you due to a metal-detector. Stay safe out there. Great pair of boots, can't go wrong with them. I got them for $100 and was pleased as pie with the arrangement.

It was a gift for my husband but UPS ruined the surprise... Lol. After a looking day at Santa Barbara beaches we arrived home and he kick the box in accident and started wondering what that was.. So ge opened it and ta daa early birthday surprise... I give it five stars, because the look I my husbands face was priceless he loved them he says they are comfortable and fit perfect he is a 14 E2 or something live that but the wider size and I am definitely ordering another pair because they were for work now he wants to keep them for casual wear... Which I don't blame him the boots are so nice. Ps. My hubby looked so cute brought me memories of when we met back in 07 😍

You get what you pay for. Timberlands are not cheap.....although the prices at Amazon are super.....but you are getting a real quality item. They are well made, heavy duty, yet comfortable and fit great. These boots are stylish and will really earn their keep this winter. As you know.....New England winters can be harsh. These boots will endure rain, snow, sleet and slush. They will be worn for 11 hour days and will come back for more. These boots will stay dry and will break in to be even more comfortable than when they first arrived. I love Timberlands and I love Amazon!

A comfortable boot once broken in. Not a good boot for heavy construction work. Swole split in the first month now small grime and rocks get in between swole.

I'm replacing a very similar Timberland boot that was so old the sole was worn almost smooth. I use them for around the house construction projects and gardening. The construction looks solid and they are very comfortable. I was tempted to order the 2e width because my foot runs a little on the wider side but ordered the M width anyway. They feel just right. I finally broke down and ordered new boots because I was working on ladders with the worn soles from the previous pair (might be 15 years old) and wasn't getting a good footing on the rungs. The new boots are very secure on the ladder.
