Even tried the timberland site, website and outlet - all said no longer making - but I order these and they are exactly right. Guess that even possible? Guess I better order a second pair just so he'll be set when there's wear out on 15 years.

Product arrived in good shape, almost exactly as they appeared in advertisement. Size seems right, good traction design for snow or mud. Appear to be insulated and waterproof but won’t know for sure until I get to Massachusetts in the winter!

    • First pair of boots and I've "struck gold"!

This anti-fatiuge thing is so good!! They're almost as comfortable as a pair of sneakers! I had to walk through deep water more than once so I know they're waterproof. I was worried after reading reviews about them falling apart but they are holding up. I've only had them a few months so I don't know how long they'll last but I suspect years (couldn't wait years before I wrote a review so I'm giving 4 stars.) What I didn't like is that one of the inner soles was too big and I had to cut it to make it fit properly - this I botched - I would hope the makers read reviews and I don't have to worry about above mentioned complaints happening, so uneven inner soles won't happen to anyone else. Whenever this pair becomes worn out I will most definitely be buying another pair of these Timberland boots! Did I mention how comfortable they are? And believe me I have been working these boots hard! The metal I've been working with has cut them up good and deep. And they still are waterproof! Money well spent! ... show more

Working on a drill rig, 12-14 hour shifts are to be expected and I can pull it off without any aches or pain with this anti fatigue midsole. These boots hold up way better than anybody’s I work with (carhartts, Ariat, red wing, etc..) between the drill mud, cement and using the comp toe as a hammer, most work boots don’t make it past 6 months in this industry. Well I’ve purchased these boots twice, first time 2 years ago and another last year around this time. I bought the second pair because my first pair started taking on water and I can’t do wet feet at all. But after I broke in the new pair, somebody mentioned mink oil to maintain the waterproofing. Well, I never threw away my first pair so I applied mink oil to both boots and now I keep them both in a weekly rotation. I should be scheduled to buy these boots again but I simply don’t need to yet. That’s why I’m leaving this review now. Only slight complaint is the inside liner on the older pair doesn’t like to let go of my heel anymore, makes them a challenge to get off without a shoehorn. ... show more
