Great All Day Safety Boot

I make it a point to get new safety work boots every year, even if my current pair still has life in it. My job provides an annual boot allowance, which makes it easy to test new brands without much hassle. After wearing Timberland Pros for years, I ventured out and tried the Carhartt Rugged Flex and later the Hytest FootRest 2.0 Xergy. They were decent enough to get me through the year, but nothing felt like home. A few days ago, I returned to my tried-and-true: Timberland Pro. This time, I purchased the Boondocks, and let me tell you, I’m in love. Right out of the box, the boot looks incredible: well-packaged, laced up, and tied at the top. Once I loosened the laces and slipped them on, the fit was perfect. I have wide feet, and while I wear a standard size 11, the toe box felt just as spacious as a wide boot. The boot is lightweight, though a bit bulky, not thin or sleek, but solid and protective. What impressed me most is the all-day comfort and the level of protection you feel while wearing them. I went from wearing my safety boots only during my main job to keeping them on through my second job, where sneakers are perfectly acceptable. In the harsh winter weather of Northern Pennsylvania, I’ve walked through snow, ice, and slush, including puddles of freezing slush, and not once did my feet get wet or cold. The insulation and waterproofing are top-tier. The tread is aggressive and confidence-inspiring. Every step feels stable, no matter the surface. You genuinely feel like your feet will stay under you in rough conditions, which is critical when safety matters. For me, the Timberland Pro Boondocks are a clear winner. They’re rugged, protective, comfortable, and reliable in extreme cold and wet conditions. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a solid safety boot that performs well in all environments and occasions.

No One Makes a Better Work Boot

The best work boots I've ever purchased. I've NEVER had a boot so comfortable like these are... and they are beautiful! Well made, triple stitching, quality leather, water proof and brilliant design. Been wearing them to work for 3 weeks now. Love them. And, I guarantee I will purchase these again. No doubt there.

Great Workboot

Seems perfect, time will tell

Alright so these boots seem pretty solid. I work in commercial plumbing and electrical, new construction, the whole nine. These boots have comp toe and a toe cap, 6" height, waterproof like 3", really nice tread, are as light as my running shoes, and pretty comfortable inside (granted I'll probably put some insoles in them soon). Only thing I don't like is the sizing- they're cut like Nikes are. Normally I don't need a wide boot but with these I did. They have like a suede look to them. Unsure how they hold up over time but so far so good. I'm sure I'll still need to wear thick socks in the winter but at least the toe shouldn't get cold since it's composite.

No complaints, very nice boots

They’re very nice comfortable boots. I wore them around the house and on a few dog walks, and realized there was no break-in period. 4 days on the job now and zero complaints. Time will tell how long they’ll last, but for now they feel great and look great too.

Horrible and Awful

These boots are absolutely horrible. I honestly can't believe how bad they are. Ive been in the landscaping field for almost 30 years and have never worn boots this bad. They are incredibly uncomfortable to the point of being painful. There is no arch support and no cushion or absorption in the heel and ball of your foot. It honestly feels like I'm walking on concrete wearing wooden sandals. I hoped they just had a crazy long break in period but unfortunately that is not the case. The inserts were so bad that I had to purchase new ones and it didn't even improve that much. If all that wasn't bad enough, they are definitely NOT waterproof. The first few weeks my feet were dry but by week 4, my feet now get soaked from rain. I wear a rain suit when it rains so it's not like water is running down my legs into my boots. I normally don't leave bad reviews but I wanted to help a fellow hard worker from making the same mistake as I did. A complete waste of $200.00!
