  • Most Comfortable Work Boots Ever he says
Size: 11 Wide Color: Brown
This is my husbands second pair of these Timberland work boots and he said they were the most comfortable pair of boots he has ever owned. He is a pipeline engineer and on his feet working all day and never complains about his feet hurting like he used to before trying these boots four or five years ago. Even with almost daily use they lasted at least four years before he needed a new pair. They make these in wide width, which is what he needs, and wide width is hard to find in some boots. He said he will continue to purchase these when needed as long as they make them. Comfortable, long lasting, great quality work boots. ... show more

  • Comfortable but concerned
Comfort level in this boot is pretty amazing. Whatever the combination of padding and soft tread is, it's definitely one of the 'cushiest' boots I've worn. The anti-fatigue marketing is valid. The boots fit nice and snug around the mid foot but had a nice large toe box right out of the box, but these boots have packed out pretty fast, and the crease created at the toe near the safety cap from walking/nealing seems to be wearing down the leather excessively fast. So durability is a concern. For whatever reason, these seem to fit a bit more snug than the same boondock boot with the rubber toe overlay. Maybe that's just some weird perception but it seems different to me. The tread/outsole on the boot is great. Nice year round traction with the big blocky tread pattern. We've had a significant amount of snow already this fall and these boots have performed well in fresh snow, packed snow, ice, and slush. No concerns over them being waterproof. The tread stays soft in very low temps as well. Coldest overnight worn them so far is -10F and the rubber was still soft and grippy. Generally happy with the boots, but am somewhat concerned about the durability of the outside leather and the internal padding of the boot. ... show more

  • Very comfortable boots
Size: 11 Wide Color: Brown
I am very happy with the comfort of the boots. As a disabled veteran, it's hard for me to find the right footwear. I have had them long enough now to really test them. Positives: comfort, style, waterproof capabilities, weight. Negatives: the sole has a couple of spots separating just a little but so far no affect from it. I'll buy them again when needed. ... show more

  • So Far So Good. Will Update With Changes.
I'm a big fan of Timberland Pro boots in terms of price, quality and comfort. My first pair of Timberland boots were the 6" Resistors. They still have plenty of life in them, but I kind of want them as a backup boot now. This time I decided to go with the 8" Boondocks. Let's talk about sizing. I'm usually a size 13 in most shoes. Timberland Pro boots can run large. The Resistors I have are a size 12, but I ordered them wide, as I have wide feet. Overall, the Resistors fit fine, but I felt like I could have gone with a 13 and they also felt too wide. So, for the Boondocks, I went with 13 M and they are on the money! I would say order your regular size and if you have a wide foot, consider trying both the medium and wide widths to see what works best for you. If you usually wear extra wide, probably go with the wide. Right out of the box, you get the comfort you would expect from Timberland and they feel somewhat broken in already, so they are ready to go. In terms of weight, I don't think they are that heavy for 8" composite toe boots. I'm a commercial electrician that works in all kinds of terrain, on my feet all day, and the weight doesn't bother me at all, but if you work in a warehouse environment or are a delivery driver, boots like these might be overkill. I'll update this review if I find anything else worth mentioning or if they begin to fail prematurely, but overall, I am happy with these boots and I highly recommend them. ... show more

  • BEST BOOT BRAND!
The most comfortable boots EVER!

  • Big and clunky
They’re big and they’re clunky and that’s what makes them so great. The leather is perfect and I look forward to many, many years of wearing them. They’re a bit heavy and a bit expensive, but the style is just what I was looking for in a durable, slip-resistant work boot.

  • Great Boot!
These are replacement boots for my old Timberland PRO's that I've had for 10 years or more. If you treat them right, they will last a long time. My only complaint on theses new boots are the laces. They are really slippery, like nylon, and the laces come undone. Even when double knotted. The old boot had similar laces, but the material was not slippery, as I remember them, when new. Great boot! ... show more
