  • Great work bootthat fits true to size
Size: 11 Wide Color: Brown
These or some of the best boots I've worn, once broke they fit like a glove and or very comfortable and or the toughest boots I've worn working in briers, piling brush and just walking. It's hard to find a great fitting boot that or comfortable and made of good quality, these or both.

  • For someone new to wearing "work boots" - these are a dream
Size: 13 Color: Brown
Let me start by saying that these are the first work boots I have ever worn. While I cannot therefore compare them to any other workboots, I can say with confidence that these boots are incredibly comfortable and made the transition from athletic / hiking shoes to work boots hardly noticable. They are not much heaver than my trail running / hiking sneakers. The fit is roomy in the toe box, comfortable but supportive around the heel. They do seem to run a bit long - I ALWAYS wear a size 13 and in these I could have sized down to a 12 (not even a 12.5!). The waterproofing is amazing and I have stood in 6" of water. The non-slip soles just that - they have a very secure footing. And while some people have complained about breathability, I cannot support that complaint. I wear these with regular athletic socks and I do not find them overly hot, nor do I sweat profusely. Do they breathe as well as my asics? No. Do they breath as well as my 5.10 hiking shoes? Absolutely! The biggest thing that took getting used to was the height of the sole/heel. The sole under the toe is about 1.25", and the heel is easily 1.75"! So I still find myself either high stepping when climbing stairs (to be safe), or kicking the front of the stair (when I forget to high step). But that is just a matter of time. If you are looking for a work boot that doesn't have that "clunkiness" that you hear about - these are the ones. Just size down! Seriously. ... show more

  • Best Work Boot
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Dark Mocha
I picked up a pair of these work boots 15 years ago at Shoe Carneval and Just recently purchased my seveth pair - this time through Amazon. Two years for a pair of work boots is fantistic in my opinion. They are lightweight, durable and waterproof. I am a warehouse/yard foreman for a construction company, so I put these things through all kinds of abuse and I must say, they hold up exceptionally well. They are extremely comfortable and can be worn all day (sometimes those days are 12 hours) with no fatigue whatsoever. The only issue I have ever had occured about four years ago during the winter when one of the soles split on the side causing a water leak. Shoe Carneval was out of my size so I bought a pair of Red Wing Irish Setters. Big mstake and waste of 189.00. Those dogs were heavy and uncomfortable - I ended up giving them away and thankfully, Shoe Carneval had my size the next week. If you move outside a lot, climb ladders or operate heavy equipment - these are the boots to wear - hands down. ... show more

  • Some of the best! My favorites! But......
Size: 12 Color: Brown
These boots are instantly comfortable, long lasting, waterproof, and some of my favorite work boots. The only downside is the sole doesn't have the best grip. However the rest of the boots is top notch. Ive been wearing these 29 years! The titanium composite toe is much lighter than steel, and will stop cinderblocks and full boxes of ceramic tiles, and one time a FORKLIFT, WHICH pushed the shield down into the sole, Pinching my toes a bit, but SAVED MY RIGHT FOOT! And the toe remained round,, wasn't crushed.. also, theyre technically not puncture proof but I've stepped on plenty of nails and none made it through. The pebble grain leather is beautiful as well. I truly hope these are not discontinued, because they beat 95% of the boots out there! BTW there's a similar model out for 30 bucks less. The difference is the leather. These have a rich chocolate pebble grain, whearas the cheaper ones are a flat, lighter brown. Same comfort and durability, but the pebble grain is much nicer! Super comfortable, no break in required, great cushioned ankle, extra roomy toe...very stable. Only downside is they don't have great traction in snow or mud, but everywhere else. ..great and waterproof for real! ... show more

  • The Best
Size: 11.5 Color: Dark Mocha
I haven’t found a more comfortable boot. I’ve bought at least 8 or 9 pair of these in the past 15 years. I’ve even bought the low top version.. I’m on my feet with these boots at least 10-12 hrs a day and I can say they are durable and comfy..I always try to like other boots that are lighter, but non of the other brands have the soft leather and ankle support like these. do and trust me I’ve tried on just about everything ou there.. If there is a negative I’d say it would be the weight, but that’s because of the composite toe. They do run a size large. Try them you won’t regret it.. ... show more

  • Very durable, and comfortable, my 3.5 year review
Size: 11 Color: Dark Mocha
I bought these X-mas 2016, so 3.5 years roughly, worn every day as a long haul truck driver. The damage you see started about 2 months ago, so all in all you can’t complain about these boots durability. My only real complaint is the tread, these would be far better suited to inside industrial work, then outdoors. Had some issues in the winter and oily surfaces. They did do a great job of keeping my feet dry, they really are water proof up to the laces. I did not submerge them by any means, but pot holes in the yards I work are almost small ponds, so they got a decent dose of water regularly. Also, the laces in these puppies are amazing, it’s the original set. As well as they held up, I’m going with the Timberland Boondocks this time, everything is similar except for higher neck, and very substantial tread more suited to outdoors. If your more indoors then these boots will take a beating, and I think you’d be happy with them. ... show more

  • NOT waterproof; good otherwise
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Mocha
I ordered these boots with the intent of working in wet conditions. These boots fit well, but I have found these boots to be not waterproof as advertised. They were unable to prevent 2-inch high water from leaching inside and making my socks wet. Do not buy these boots if you are expecting 100% waterproof work wear. They are, however, comfortable and would do fine as a regular duty boot with minor water resistance (a result of the boots being made from leather). Another con I must add is that the laces are a little too short. When you use lugs they do not leave enough slack to make secure knots. ... show more
