  • Great screen room, pay attention to the way it was packed originally
This is a really nice, functional, portable screen room. It is a good size to comfortably fit 4 chairs and a small table. It also has a hook on the roof to hang a light. The base of the unit sits flat on the ground and does a good job keeping the bugs out. It can also be moved by one person when folded. Setup probably can be done with one person, but two makes it much easier. The supports are tensioned inwards for storage and to set it up the support tension needs to be reversed which can be a challenge if you are alone. It could be done one at a time by yourself, but it is much easier with two people one holding the house and the other reversing the tension on the supports. Takedown is very simple and can be completed with one person. Folding the thing back up and fitting it into the bag is a challenge. there is an awful lot of screen room to fold up and get in a small bag. I highly recommend you pay attention to the way it was packed from the manufacturer the first time you open it and repack it that way. If you happened to not pay very much attention, like we did.. It’s fun :) ... show more

  • 4.5 Stars - Good protection from the bugs, but be careful with wind
The Timber Ridge Pop-up Gazebo is a good quality unit that’s relatively easy to set up after a small learning curve, though it’s tricky to do solo, requiring the gazebo to be staked down to effectively push up the roof. Otherwise, you wind up pushing up the tent. Additionally, the gazebo is difficult to set up in windy weather. After I’d popped up the roof on a 15 mph windy day, I struggled to keep the gazebo from blowing away. The guy lines are recommended in this situation, but I’ll definitely be using them every time I set up the unit, as an unexpected gust could become a problem. However, without having them marked off to know where to position them, I had trouble getting them into place. I’d recommend setting the gazebo up in calm conditions and getting the guy lines in place before the wind comes, and in cases where that isn’t an option, not using the gazebo. On the other hand, breaking down the gazebo was simple (provided you remember to remove the tent poles first), which I appreciated, and I particularly liked how much interior space the unit offers. It easily holds a table and chairs as well as extra items for a fun afternoon while keeping the bugs at bay. The fine mesh and flaps at the bottom are quite effective so far, and I expect them to remain so when we get into the heaviest buggy months of summer. The only thing I found concerning was that the gazebo’s roof strap popped through its rivet while I was holding it in an attempt to keep the tent from flying away during my wind setup. I was able to reattach it, but I’m not certain I’ll be able to do that again. Hopefully adding another washer on that screw will prevent it from breaking again in the future. Rating: 4.5 stars, rounded up. ... show more

  • Good canopy easy set up for 2 people
Set up is a little more difficult than claimed but despite that it is a great canopy.

  • It's incredible!
It's oval shaped, which works great for sitting chairs and talking. It didn't work around a state park picnic table we tried to put it on top of but did on a park picnic table. It is actually easy to get set up by yourself although it is nice to have another person. The material is a nice weight, good enough to last but not so heavy it makes it hard to carry. The stitching, zippers and netting are all well done and the zippers run smoothly. I recommend getting the panels for windy or sunny days, you won't regret it. Make sure you stake it down, you may not have any wind when you're setting up but wind can come out of nowhere fast and then it's too late. I comes with guy lines and stakes so there is no excuse, we bring a hammer and crowbar to make stakes easy to install and pull later. The added pulls are a very welcome touch making it a lot easier to pull. It also isn't very hard to get back in the bag which is great because a lot of gear doesn't want to go back in once out. It is a great buy and I think it's worth getting. ... show more

  • Lightweight and very durable
I live near a river, and subsequently there's a lot of gnats and other flying insects. I got this to put around patio door. It works great to have a nice area free of insects. The doorway is wide and tall, it has a full length zipper on the front door, which is great. The inner ples provide extra strength and durability. It's really easy to put up and take down, it's lightweight and easy to pack up and transport. Your family will love it. ... show more

  • Roomy and provides the perfect shelter from the sun
So funny story. If you try and set up the gazebo inside out... It doesn't work. One star. But once you figure that problem out, easy peasy. Kids are in the gazebo. Mostly protected from dogs but world be nice from insects too. Taking it down was also a breeze. Easy to carry, set up and take down with one person ( if it's not inside out) ... show more
