Firstly, the delivery was perfectly timed and the men carried it into my garage and placed it on my 4-wheel dolly so I could move it into position easily enough. Excellent service by Amazon. Secondly, the size is perfect, just what I wanted. I can open the door without it falling over. After I loaded it up, the added weight ensured that it was going nowhere. The initial opening and combination setting went exactly as the video showed. I removed one shelf and moved the other to allow loading. The owners booklet was very helpful. I am very pleased with the product and readily recommend it. I've only owned it a couple weeks but so far I love it.

The Safe arrived this morning in a fantastically sturdy box with handles. There is no damage to the safe that I can see, and I am happy about that. I suggest completing the Set Up BEFORE you stick the Safe in a tight spot. Both the Reset button and Battery Compartment require the door to be open almost all the way to be able to access them. First I had to pop open the key compartment. It is covered by a small plastic cover about an inch across. (It is a cheap and cheesy little piece that will probably end up somewhere else before long, accidentally or on purpose.) Simply press that little plastic piece on the left side and it pops off, revealing the key slot. The Instructions say insert key, make sure it is all the way in, and turn it counterclockwise while also turning the door knob counterclockwise. But for me it was turn the key to the left while turning the knob to the right. I mention this so you don’t feel that prickle of panic if you follow the Instructions without getting the door open the first time. The battery compartment is in the door, so that if the door were full open, you would see the battery compartment just below the Reset button. To open the compartment, slide downward and the front pops off. The batteries were really tricky and did not work for me the first three times..I know, because the next step is pushing the Reset button, and mine was dead. I kept playing with the batteries, but they are an extremely tight fit and I was losing hope when Finally it worked. I heard the beep. Yay! I am already dreading the first time I have to change the batteries, because the compartment is awkward, tight and difficult. Setting the new code was super easy once the batteries kicked in. So now all I have left to do is bolt the safe down with the lag bolts that were included. Update: holes in the bottom of safe fit the included bolts and secured the safe beautifully. The code works perfectly every time... The only trouble I had at first was remembering to press the hash key after entering code. It has been months and the batteries are still going strong. Really good safe, and very good Amazon purchase.

The poor grammar and word choice of the manual made it hard to set the safe up. There were parts inside the safe that were not mentioned in the manual. They turned out to be screws to hold the safe to the floor, but I had to spend quite a bit of time searching the internet to figure that out. So I haven't had a chance yet to fully use the safe, but it appears to be solid.

This is my first safe after receiving it I think I need a larger one. It will survive purpose to this end. I also received 4 small metal 1 1/2-2 inch poles and have no ideal what they are for. I’m only guessing maybe if I was to put wheels on the bottom that’s what it’s for but it’s only for pose with no wheels for attachment.

I shopped around for a good safe and settled on this one. When reading reviews on all the different safes, I was concerned because it seems they all have various problems. Mainly some of them you can’t get open and you have to call locksmith. Reading reviews on this one nobody complained about this problem. I received it and it was in good condition. I tried to set up code, but I was having trouble. So I looked up on you tube and found a video of set up. Once I found this it was easy. I also like how much room it has for a small safe. 3.42. Size. I had a little trouble with the battery department. Its a little tricky getting batteries in and out. Takes a little patience. But overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. I would recommend.
