This blind is pretty cool, you really can see out when nobody or no animals, can see you inside, it's sort of the perfect blind. I can definitely see the advantages of this blind over other brands. It's not light but it's not too heavy either and easy to carry fairly easily. It comes in a bag that allows you to carry it backpack style which is a plus. The bag doesn't seem durable enough to last more than a season or two but that's a guess and I could be wrong. I'm very impressed with the Tidewe. The overall construction is good. There are very small holes along every stitch but much too small to leak. There are instructions for setting up the blind permanently attached to the bag so you don't lose them but it's better to ignore them, they are practically useless. Instead watch the Tidewe video on YouTube explaining (and showing) how to set the blind up. It's doable but it can be a real PITA to set it up by yourself, hopefully you have a hunting buddy with you because that makes it super easy. My particular blind has some small holes in the roof but the seller was extremely responsive and made things right. It's a great product and the seller is top notch. ... show more

It was easy to set up and take down. The windows function as they should and they are quiet to open and close. I haven't tried it in the cold yet. It may not be too warm without heaters in Michigan's weather.

Only one warning ⚠️ "do not shoot through windows, may cause fire" from the instructions. Why make a hunting blind flammable? My first pop-up. Set up is simple, pull here, here, here, here & here. Except, I'm 6' and have long arms so reaching the center hub was possible for me, solo. Roomy (again solo), made WAY beter than the other blinds I've had or used. NO ZIPPERS!!! "See through" wall & windows are ok for hiding, not for spotting & not sure if someone with glasses could see through w/o constant movement. Height is not a problem unless you're +6' Breakdown was simple. Overall I am pleased with this design. ... show more

Was skeptical of the mesh when I looked through it before setting up. Seemed hard to see through. 1st sit in the woods got myself a gobbler. Was easy enough to see through to see the turkey come up on my side. Might be my eyes but ever so slightly moving your head increases visibility more. You push the poles to "snap" in place and the whole thing has nice structure. Windows and doors are also very very nice. Not an issue with this product, but blinds in general. Watch the sunlight hitting it, you can see movement inside through the mesh against the opposite wall. ... show more

Used the blind while bow hunting. Met my expectations. Easy to set up and pack up. Really was impressed being able to see through the the material without the deer looking in. Also no Velcro made the blind super quiet. Very happy with my purchase.

First off - and the primary reason for my poor rating - is that a blind is supposed to be portable. The blind itself is pretty nice, and for the money it is a good product, but the bag that comes with it is (or was) worthless. I say "was" because during the 1st trip out with the blind the strap on the cheap nylon bag it comes with broke 100 feet from where I parked my truck. Trying to carry a mesh bag filled with turkey decoys, a backpack, and shotgun, and big heavy blind in a bag with a broken strap is no fun at all and I was cussing at myself for buying a budget level blind. I still use the blind but I cannot carry it. I mounted it on a Muddy Quad Pod and it fits pretty good with the help of some wire ties (see pic). The see through mesh is really nice up close but not so great when using binoculars. The way the windows slide open and closed is the best design I've seen in a blind but the triangular shape isn't ideal. Another CON about this blind is that the colors will fade to a deep burnt orange color when left in the sun for a few weeks. The attached picture is the blind in a Muddy Quad Pod, installed 4 weeks ago. I also included a side-by-side picture of the color it USED to be and what it looks like now. I doubt the deer care but its worth mentioning as I have higher quality blinds that have held their color for years. UPDATE: Nearly a year after purchase and TideWe saw this review...REFUNDED 100% of my $$. Fast forward to today...this blind has blown off of my 12' tall quad stand twice and while it has holes and tears in it - the poles and windows are still in fine shape and it pops up and down easily. Also, after hunting in an Ameristep and a Primos blind recently, this TideWe has the best windows BY FAR. Easy to adjust and dead silent. I just bought another one of their blinds - the one without any triangular windows. The triangle isn't bad, but it only slides down and not up - not ideal. All-in-all...you can't find a better blind for the $$ and, as I understand it, they improved their carrying bag, but I'll need to confirm that when it arrives. ... show more
