I’m a fan of shell jackets so for that, good design and my wife likes how it feels. The heat function works, but we tested it out in 14 degree weather. The first day, she didn’t turn it on to conserve battery, but when she needed it, it was too cold for the battery to work. 2nd day she a]started it earlier, and it worked for about 1.5 hours and she had to use another heated vest. Sure upon can buy battery packs, but that will start to add up or even buy a Milwaukee jacket that uses contractor batteries but for what it is, it works. We just learned the hard way of how to prepare it and have back up plans. If you need a basic heating jacket, daily errands, sporting events, etc., this will work. If you work outside for long periods of time, buy spare batteries. ... show more

I wore this jacket for opening day of gun deer season in northern Wisconsin. Opening day was in the teens, about 15 degrees in the morning with some consistent low/medium wind and slight snow showers. This jacket did keep me warm, even without the heater I was comfortable with a pair of long underwear and a hoodie underneath. I used the heater that evening when temps dropped and wind picked up a good amount, the heater on high lasted maybe 3 hours, The zippers are pretty loud but pockets are generally deep enough you don’t have to zip if you’re sitting in a stand. I like it! I think for a little extra I would have gone with more of a name brand like Milwaukee for longer heat durations but for the 9 days out of the year and maybe a few cold bow hunting days this was perfect. This jacket works really well and I love the fit and how many freaking pockets there are! 😍 I live in a state where it rains literally 200+ days a year so I figured it was time to splurge on a fancy heated jacket for myself for Christmas. After alot of reading reviews on many different brands, I chose this one. As I said, it fit GREAT which I can't normally say about jackets, and it works really well. The battery pack can be a little awkward if you don't like bulky things in your lower pockets [it sits at the bottom of the jacket in the front]. But my real issue is that I'm someone who would rather have my front warm than my back, but the back heater on this works MUCH better than the front heater. There's also the issue that I have a large bust [38J] so the front heaters that are supposed to be on your midsection hit me at mid-chest. It would be nice if there was a women's version that is tailored to women's curves. And I really am disappointed about the fact that I didn't notice that it doesn't have front shoulder heaters. 😔 That would actually keep my chest warm and also help my neck/face from getting so cold. Other than that, I love it so far. We'll see how it holds up. Maybe I'll check out another brand if I can find one with better placement of the heaters. ... show more

Ok. Here's my breakdown. If you can, spend the extra money for better quality. If you're like me and can't, this is a fine choice. I work outside. It gets cold. I need to move around a lot. The jacket fits perfect. Got a large. I'm 5 ft. However, it can feel constricting if you're not cold. Cause when you're cold, you don't care much. I wore it out to dinner to try and break it in, it was snowing a little. I kept saying I felt trapped in it. Idk if thats makes sense. It just doesn't move well. But hey, it keeps me warm at work. Also, the battery only lasts about an hour to hour half. Only 2 heating elements. Hence spend more get more. I'm happy with the purchase. Just want to give details if someone is deciding between a couple. ... show more

Bought this for hunting because I’m always cold, Definitely worth it! The heating works amazing, I wouldn’t say it’s a light weight more like a medium weight jacket. I will say my only complaint is if you want to layer underneath it to size up, I ordered the medium and while it fits good I wouldn’t be able to layer much underneath. That being said, if I’m using the heating I shouldn’t need to layer much. ... show more
