I got these for putting a dock in and out at camp. Today was the first use and I was initially impressed, I went in right up to nearly the limit of the waders and was warm and dry the whole time. The boots were comfortable, and the fit was good. We were almost done putting the dock in when I started feeling a little water coming in (maybe 45 minutes in the water). Based on where I got wet I think the problem is at the seam between the boot and the leggings. I'm beyond the return window so I'll have to try to locate the leak and seal it up for this fall. For one-time or occasional use these work well but don't expect much longevity, I might opt for one of the inexpensive neoprene options if I can't find the leak. Amended: This was originally a 2-star review because of the leak but Tidewe refunded the purchase. So your mileage may vary with the waders but they do stand behind their product. Can't go wrong with that.

Ok, I got the Tidewe waders last month. Was finally able to go test in the American River in CarMichael, Ca Sunrise Bridge area known for big cutthroat trout, huge salmon, and fun pan-size fish. Waterproof? Yes! Feel the freezing mountain runoff through the waders? Very much so. Wear long Johns and thick socks. Comfort? Fits perfect. I bought the size 9 mens shoe medium. Im 5'3" size 8.5 shoe. Can you walk comfortably in the waders? Not very far. You will feel the river stones once you're out of the water. Why not a 5-star? These things came stinking to high heaven of cigarettes. Im still airing them out a month later. Seriously, they stink bad of tobacco. You'd think they got blessed up pretty goot wit dem prayer, aye. Otherwise, they're good to go.

The wader works fine. I haved used mine 5-6 times. No problem experienced, just a little moisture sometimes. The included waterproof pouch is a problem. It's made of cheap low-quality materials and not really waterproof, but that's still not the real problem. The real problem is that the hanging string part and the pouch are two pieces and connected together using velcro straps. I almost lost a $1200 phone - the hanging string was still around my neck, but the pouch and phone were gone. Fortunately the river was shallow, and I found the phone after 15 minutes of frenetic search. So just don't use the pouch at all.

These arrived today and so haven't been put to the test, but they are as described and appear to be exactly what I wanted. Theyvwerecwell boxed and arrived quickly. The waders seem well made of quality material. The shoulder and waist snaps are solid and the boots seem rugged. My shoes are size 10.5 so I ordered an 11. They are comfortable with white socks and thick wool socks over them. The holder works nicely and the phone case looks good. The patch kit is in front pocket. So far I'm very happy. Update after 1 use: I wore these to launch and retrieve my 12' boat with no leaking. They aren't a thick material so had little impact on mobility which is what I wanted but also didn't provide much additional warmth, which is what I expected. They do cut down on the wind. So far, so good!

I purchased these Waders for my other half to wear while fishing and going mudding. The boots themselves are true to size and the waist and chest area can tighten to fit against your body. My partner is 5’10” and 160lbs. The suit is waterproof and as long as you don’t go past your chest in water (or mud), you will remain dry! It is also neat how there is a chest pouch big enough to store a phone or other valuables that you’d like to keep out of the water. Included with the purchase was a separate phone carrying pouch as well as a hanger for drying/cleaning. I would love to purchase these for myself, but they do not have a size small enough for my feet (women’s size 6). Overall I’m happy with the purchase and will be keeping an eye out for smaller sizes!

Got these for my daughter for fishing. I personally like stocking foot waders, but her feet are still growing and these are an affordable option until then. Nice waders for the money, much better than the rubber ones I had to wear when I started fishing.

Great waders for a great price. These require TLC and proper storage, otherwise should last for years. Very comfortable, easily adjustable, and they didn’t leak when I used them. These aren’t the kind of waders to leave wet in the back of your truck with the dead worms and beer cans between fishin trips - I’m looking at you, Carl.
