I’ve used several different laundry detergents over the years, and this Tide Ultra Odor Defense Plus Oxi detergent has easily become one of the best-performing options I’ve tried. The cleaning power is excellent, especially on clothes that tend to hold onto strong odors like workout gear, work clothes, towels, and pet bedding. One thing I noticed right away was how fresh and clean the laundry smelled after washing without the scent being overly strong or overwhelming. The added Oxi formula does a great job helping remove stains and brighten fabrics, even on tougher loads that normally require extra treatment. I also appreciate that it works very well in both standard and high-efficiency washing machines without leaving behind residue on clothing. Even when using cold water cycles, the detergent still dissolves properly and provides very solid cleaning performance. Who goes wrong with Tide? It cleans very well and doesn’t leave behind any color residue. Smells pleasant and does the job. I just wish all manufacturers of detergent would figure out a better system for the cup you pour into as once you click in back into place the residue drips down side or bottom of the bottle . ... show more
