I’m giving Tide Free & Gentle Liquid Laundry Detergent 5 stars because it does a great job cleaning clothes while still being gentle on skin. I like that it is free of dyes and perfumes, which makes it a good choice for people who are sensitive to strong scents or regular scented detergents. The cleaning quality is very good. Clothes come out fresh, clean, and soft without any heavy fragrance left behind. It works well for everyday laundry like shirts, towels, bedding, and kids’ clothes. I also appreciate that it dissolves well in the wash and does not leave residue on clothes when used correctly. The size is also convenient. The 84 fl oz bottle gives 64 loads, so it lasts a good amount of time and feels like a good value. The bottle is easy to store, and the cap makes it simple to measure the right amount. The scent is very mild, which is exactly what I wanted. It does not have that strong perfume smell that some detergents have, but the laundry still feels clean. I have used tide most of my life and have lived the clean I get from the product and the over all smell is good as well, this product while eliminating all smell offers the same clean otherwise and I believe it is a little cheaper than the regular for people with skin allergies would recommend hands down, for people who do not have allergies that appreciate good smelling clothes I would stick to the original tide detergent ... show more

Tide is the OG in laundry detergent. The free and gentle doesn't seem to make me itch like other brands. But I do miss the scented detergents.

I love that this Tide Free & Gentle has in unscented and free of dyes, making it perfect for my grandson's and my sensitive skin. Previously, I had been using All's version, but, while I find All to be just as good for sensitive skin, Tide is slightly more effective when it comes to tough stains. Whites and colors both come out bright. Cold water washing is just as effective as warm. My washing machine takes HE detergent only, and this Tide is indeed concentrated.
