The fabric is as hard as cardboard, making it uncomfortable to wear. It restricts your movements and won't allow you to fully stretch out during exercise. You have to keep pulling it as you run just a few steps. The reflective strip is only a small area on the chest. The arms and back are made of regular fabric. Bought this for my husband because he works outside most of the time. The his viz and reflective striping is perfect for the field he's working in. He's worn it one time and he said it did keep him warm. True to size, he normally wears a 2X and that's what I bought him. He still has enough room to wear an long sleeve shirt underneath and it not be too bulky. It does say it's waterproof but we cannot comment on that yet because it has yet to rain here where we live. My only complaint so far is the sewing of the velcro patches throughout the jacket. The velcro is strong however the single line stitching to hold the velcro to the jacket breaks too easy. We received the jacket with a velcro patch already torn off the jacket. He did not want to exchange because we were expecting windy cold conditions the next day. So he kept it. But definitely check the sewing. I think the quality could be better in that area. ... show more
