Great shifter
Great addition to my sim rig. Well built and quality shifter.

Not the Sparco version?
This is probably on me unless I'm going insane but I could of sworn that I bought the Sparco version of this product with the Sparco logo on it. Now that I come back to the product page, I realize there's no mention of Sparco anywhere in the images or the descriptions so I feel like I went into the Twilight Zone. That's not something I usually don't notice. I don't like to accuse sellers of changing their page, but yea...could of sworn that's what I was buying when I pulled the trigger on this because...well, that's what I was specifically looking for. I did keep it and it works the same and overall it looks the same but pretty disappointed that it doesn't match any of my other Sparco products.

Missing components & Damaged packaging
Ordered the handbrake/seq. shifter mod, was shipped with just the shifter and 2 bolts, scratched, cracked on the top plexiglass panel, damaged packaging, and missing DIN port wire. Shifter works but i need to buy everything that said was included with the purchase just so this shifter doesn't go to waste. Terrible.

Quality
Waited years to save up and buy it. It doesn't come with any hardware/screws and the instructions are difficult to understand since theres no writing just pictures but thats how thrustmaster has always been. Solid piece of metal and it feels realistic.

Built like a tank, slightly confusing implementation
A bit of an odd peripheral. When my unit arrived, the toggle to switch between a handbrake and a shifter was a bit messed up. ThrustMaster CS helped me figure out the issue and it has been very responsive in both settings. The throw distance to shift is reasonable and lets you snap through gears, albeit rather numbly. The handbrake mode feels nicer and smooth. I used to use a no-name Arduino handbrake that had much more travel and always felt a bit sloppy. The TSS handbrake gives a more reasonable throw and feels more responsive, not to mention it’s built like a tank with virtually zero lateral play. I’ve been loving this unit in handbrake mode for drifting. I’ve actually left the TSS in Handbrake mode while pairing it with a Simagic Q1 sequential shifter. A bit of an odd setup, but it works. You might wonder what the point of this unit is then, I wonder the same thing. If you have a shifter, this is a nice handbrake but a bit much for just a handbrake. If you need a sequential shifter and have a handbrake, this makes a bit more sense, but again it’s a bit much for the little tactile feel you get. The TSS seems like a jack of all trades, it does both functions well, but it’s not a master of either. I wouldn’t say avoid this, but you should think about whether this would fit with your sim racing setup and whether you really need a 2-in-1 unit like this.

stopped working
i bought this for my driving sim and it worked fine for the first 8 hours then after that it started shifting gears while I was trying to handbrake, I tried to go to reddit and find a fix or look at youtube a lot of people seem to have this problem but no one has a permanent fix.
