This is my second wheel, the first being the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider wheel. I bought this along with a Playseat Challenge, and it has made a world of difference. I play F1 23 and Forza Motorsport, and the force feedback makes a world of difference, especially in Forza. I see a lot of people complain about the build quality and pedals. The build quality feels a little cheap, but it is to be expected for the price, and you don't really notice it when driving. The gas pedal is a little small, but aside from that, the quality and resistance of the pedals feels much better than, for example, the pedals on the 458 spider wheel. The clamp works just fine for securing the wheel and not sliding around, as long as the underside of the surface you are mounting it to is flat. Overall, I think that this is a great product for the price, and that many of the complaints about it are a bit overstated. ... show more

I never leave reviews even for crap I dig, buy this is an exception. My TLDR is: The wheel is very great; Strong force feedback, feels great, small but fun. However if you don't have any pedals, consider the next upgrade. The force feedback IS strong, literally the same as my car in real life. Some in game calibration tweaking and practice had me up to speed in a couple hours. Playing mostly Dirt 2.0 in VR with the Valve Index. Really, it makes me feel like I'm learning how to drift and drive fast on rough terrain as I'm struggling to keep the car straight. Very good feeling. The wheel IS small, but to me it makes whipping turns in game really fun! The pedals are garbage, yeah. Maybe good for a child, very small. They flop around when you push the pedals too hard and they move easily even on carpet. Thankfully I already had Thrustmaster rudder pedals from Flight Sim, they're not true racing pedals and dont feel good. Just goes to show how bad these ones are. The power and usb connection ports are sorta in an awkward spot in my opinion but it's not a game breaker. Overall, if this setup came with decent pedals id recommend it to most beginners. otherwise go with the next set above this. Buddy of mine got that next set and he loves the pedals. Talks about how tight the brake pedal is specifically, very jealous. ... show more

Apparently this supports most driving games. But not always the default settings. So, for example, you might have to assign the various buttons/controls to do certain tasks - like steering, braking, acceleration, e-brake, etc. But on a small hand full of games (which I don't own apparently), you don't have to do that and the little LEDS on the wheel will light up. Once you set things up for a game, it works extremely well. I bought a dedicated frame for mine and can sit in front of a 60" TV - so it's nice experience with out breaking the bank. ... show more

Nothing to protect it in the shipping process. These things aren't cheap at all for it to be in a big box with zero protection around it. And it's missing the power supply and the bolt that hooks it to the table mount. Very poor efforts and ruined my weekend and now time to return this.
