Love these Thorogood American Heritage boots. I’ve gotten them for years and they never disappoint! Very comfortable with tough leather and soft wedge soles. They break in a lot quicker than most other work boots I’ve worn too.

These are extremely comfortable boots. They were comfortable from day 1 and after a month of use are breaking in nicely. The steel toe is the real deal! I dropped a sledge hammer on my toe and didn't feel a thing!

I have a very low, almost flat footed arch. Boots that don't hurt my feet can be a pain to find. I'm proud to say I've had these thorogoods going on 3 years and they have treated my feet awesome! They had a pretty brief break in period, and the insoles fell apart near the end of year two (I'd say that's normal for any boot with a hard use) and I replaced with a workwear insole, but they are still going strong! I just keep conditioned with leather honey when they look a little dry. The option to restore them and add a new sole via their website tells me they could last another 5 once these soles wear out. I wouldnt hesitate to buy again although it might be a while unless I decide on a brown pair. ... show more

Not as comfortable as I thought nor is it water proof, even with the leather sealer/waterproof grease I purchased. For the price, almost $300, I would never buy again. They look nice and are probably ok for light construction work but not for most. I dunno, just not for me. Maybe I’ll just stick to my Merrell work boots or Carhart boots. A lot of money doesn’t necessarily mean they are gonna feel better on you. Just my 2 cents. ... show more
