Great boot, I work at a power plant and put many miles on boots every night. The boots feel great and conform to my foot which is a must for the amount of miles I walk. The sole provides ample amount of protection, and the boot is made to protect your feet. The top of the boot was a little uncomfortable until after the break in period of about three days. Update: After almost six months of use and abuse the boots are still performing well and have no visible signs of sticking coming apart or sole. This boots are definitely a buy. Plus, several co-workers have asked me where I got the boots and said the liked them.

I am 390lbs. So to say I am hard on boots is an understatement. These boots are awesome there was about a week brake in period just around the ankle still very supportive. I already know that when the time comes probably in another year when I need to replace these it will be with another pair of the same. Update they almost lasted a year. I did replace the footbeds with a better one from thorogood like 2 or 3 months is. They are still comfortable but the seems on the sides where the steel toe starts have broke open and they are no longer water proof. That happened around 9 months in. But that happens to a lot of brands that have stitching at the same place.

I have been reimbursed for the cost of my safety shoes at my job for the last 6 years and I've bought a pair of these boots every time. I've never had a problem with the build quality or anything. One of the laces is wearing out in the right shoe of my current pair, but I've had them for 8 months now. So yeah, I'm on my fifth pair of these and they've been great for me. I get a new pair every year, not because they get worn out that quickly, but because I get reimbursed once a year.

The Good: Boots look great! The Bad: Right boot started hissing and squeaking like a dog toy with each step after just 6(six) days on the job. Digging into reviews, it seems like you get a good pair or a bad pair. So, benefit of the doubt, I sent them back for an exchange. The new pair came in, looked great, no hissing or sqeaking. BUT the toe box on the left boot was tighter than on the right boot. They were both labeled the same size but the left one was tight. I even measured my feet to make sure one isn't bigger. This is a great looking boot. Which is good if you want a pair to look at. I prefer boots I can actually wear and work in so these went back; for a refund this time. Grabbed some Timberland Pros from a local shop for the same price. Instantly comfortable. Much better build quality.

These boots look amazing but so far or not my favorite. My toes are tight together compared to most other people‘s toes that are loosely packed in there boot. So these boots in the toe and work well for me. The other end as far as the hill goes are very tight and stiff. I am still breaking them in so it could very well get better but as of right now they are stiff and rub my ankle weird. For the arch support I would say that they’re no better or worse than an average boot. These boots by far look great and I do like the extra rubber support on the toe in the heel I believe that will help with the wear-n-tear. The height of these boots is what attracted me in the first place. Overall I would give these boots a 3.75 out of 5.

I have been a mechanical/electrical technician for over 20 years, have spent several thousand dollars on boots in my lifetime . From cheapest to extremely high dollar...... I am always in different environments... Ranging from (- 20) degrees blast freezers., food processing plants, wet, oily, corrosive places to extremely clean pharmaceutical production...I go through a pair of boots every 8 to 12 months.... .. These boots are by far the best, most comfortable, durable and economically priced boots I have ever worn. This will be my 4th purchase of these boots... Granted they are NOT made to for continual use in extremely wet environments...but are water resistant.. Most people's back and feet ache because the need to eat correctly, exercise, loose weight and make regular visits to the chiropractor.... Not because of the boot..
