  • Good value as long as it is not too small.
A bit on the short side but what do U want vs the very good price. What I received is very accurate & easy to zero up & adjust.

  • Gets the angle correct
This is a very good product. Extremely accurate and easy to use. Cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend

  • Very handy tool when doing woodwork
I've been installing new wood flooring including baseboards. Nothing in my house is square so getting corners to look tight is nearly impossible without some way to find the angle. This protractor is a life saver. It is simple to use, the zero function is very helpful to ensure you are getting accurate reading. The only issue I have is trying to get an outside angle in a tight spot. There is no way to reduce the length of the arms. It would be nice if it came in a case too. Overall give it a 10 for features and usability. ... show more

  • Works as advertised.
Works as advertised. Would be nice to have the complementary angle button. Yes, simple math gets there...but in the field, less calculations are better!

  • Works OK for some uses, Needs improvement on others
I haven't used this a whole lot since it came it, but have found it to be very handy. I am currently making stars for Christmas decorations in Craft Shows, which require a pretty exact angle. Checking a angle that has already been cut works great! It would help if the ruler itself was just a tad thicker. It is a little hard to hold on a piece of wood and touch both sides. I really like the digital read out. As for setting a angle to mark a cut or set up the saw, does not do as good. It is hard to get in the exact position you want. It will be .5 degrees out one way or the other and difficult to get to the exact degree mark you are looking for. It doesn't sound like .5 degrees would matter that much... 10 cuts on a 5 point star that are off by .5 degrees each is 5 degrees. While .5 isn't much, 5 degrees is. That is a fairly large crack! So, not so accurate in this sense. I have checked it against another square and protractor and found it to be really close IF you can get it locked down without it moving that .5 degrees. On the good side, both the numbers on the ruler and the digital screen are easy to see. The screen does cut off if not in use, so should help save the battery. Using it to check a angle that is already cut, I would recommend. Using it to mark a angle or set up a saw, I would not recommend without some calibration. UPDATE After using a few more times, I DO NOT Recommend!! It has a few good points as mentioned, BUT it will reset itself to Zero without warning. So, if you don't see it when it resets, it screws everything up. Your angle will not be what you have it set to be! I can still find a use for it, but it's not worth the price. I would not buy again nor Recommend this product!! ... show more

  • Very close..but no cigar!
Giving it 3 stars on value. It's cheap....fairly accurate and easy to use. But if you want accuracy, this isn't for you. I tested it, by using the 3-4-5 rule, expanded to 6-8-10. It was off an 1/8 of an inch (in other words, it was 10 1/8). If my trigonometry is right, I think that is 1.5 degrees off. I understand, that is good enough for most projects. But I was hoping for a little better. Great value...don't get me wrong. But accuracy is just off a bit. ... show more

  • Worked fine for my project
I used this for cutting molding on a very unsquare room. I did fine.

  • Wonderful Angle Finder
How did I live without this? I don't know. It is so nice when cutting pieces of wood that I am going to glue into different shapes for turning on my lathe. It's angles appear to be dead on. It was also very useful when I was putting rafters on a shed and needed to know angles for cutting those.
