How did I live without this? I don't know. It is so nice when cutting pieces of wood that I am going to glue into different shapes for turning on my lathe. It's angles appear to be dead on. It was also very useful when I was putting rafters on a shed and needed to know angles for cutting those.

I am using this angle finder to build subframe connectors for my 67 Mustang. Simple way to scribe angles ... 6 degrees for example...on my square tubing for precise cuts. No longer have to summon Chief Sohcahtoa (sin, cos, tan) to figure out odd angles.

Giving it 3 stars on value. It's cheap....fairly accurate and easy to use. But if you want accuracy, this isn't for you. I tested it, by using the 3-4-5 rule, expanded to 6-8-10. It was off an 1/8 of an inch (in other words, it was 10 1/8). If my trigonometry is right, I think that is 1.5 degrees off. I understand, that is good enough for most projects. But I was hoping for a little better. Great value...don't get me wrong. But accuracy is just off a bit.

I’ve been having problems hanging things in the corner of my tub in the guest room. (Like corner wall shelves, etc.) I had one hung, but it came crashing down a few days later (and broke my full bottle of body wash I had in to test it for weight. Anyway, I thought I’d fine out why my corners weren’t holding them. This told me one corner was 92.5 degrees and the other was 91.8 degrees. As I also do some woodworking, this will be nice to have to make sure my corners are perfect. I like the digital readout, because there’s no question what your measurement is. Super accurate, quick digital readout, and it comes with a replacement battery. I wish I had this years ago!
