I purchased several of these sets to donate to a girls' charity camp. I believe that empowering young women with their own tools is a great way to encourage them to learn how to install and fix things without asking men to do it for them! Over the years, I've lost a lot of tools because they got mixed in with workers' tools. Pink tools cannot be *accidentally* taken from the site. I did not handle the tools myself so I can't attest to the quality of the tools, but I've had similar sets over the years. Most of the components are okay. I love all things pink :) We have a very extensive tool set in a Craftsman in the garage, but I was tired of lugging tools up and down the stairs when I needed them in my office/craft room. This set is perfect and has almost everything I would ever need and everything I need on a regular basis. Everything seems to be good quality. The electric screwdriver (NOT a drill) charges via micro-usb which I appreciate. We had a similar set in our apartment days and lost the charger to the electric screwdriver and could never find a replacement. Micro-usb is super common and we have several extras around the house. The case is sturdy and the set doesn't take up a lot of space. The only "con" is that the tools are held with flimsy velcro straps that are likely to wear down quickly. ... show more

I originally got this to make bird toys with but have ended up using it to do minor household fixes like popping trim back on after my toddler has removed it . I like having my own tools . I bought pink specifically so my husband wouldn't use them and I could identify my tools from his if he did decide to run off with them, which he does try to do often. I have used my little set to help me build chicken brooders and make lamp stands. Pretty much any project I have needed it for it has handled nicely and was easy for me to operate even knowing nothing about tools. Everything was light weight enough my toddler daughter has handled them . The carry bag is a nice addition and it's very handy.
