This is a low cost mini-split is not the easiest to install but very close to it. You will need to vacuum the lines for the best install, We only got the 10k btu unit because we have a small space that needed heating or a/c, but not consistently. Our unit is only 115v, which is great for a simple install. The lineset that comes with the lineset is only 10 ft, which doesn’t give you a lot of length but enough to get outside if you are on an exterior wall. Both the lineset and the electrical lines can be lengthened if needed. Just remember if you do, you will need to add R32 to the unit to make up for the extra line. After installing, this unit is working perfectly. We now have heat and air conditioning in a space that never had before, which minimal cost and work to get there. There is barely any noise added to this area, even with the outdoor unit right outside the wall, mounted to the wall to keep it high enough off the ground to not be affected by snow. We haven’t tested the a/c mode as much as heat due to the weather getting cooler but its been nice and warm in the space now, which we usually just had to deal with wearing more clothing not to freeze.

This split-system air conditioning and heating unit is excellent to use. Installation is quite simple—though it does require a few specialized tools—and the outdoor unit produces very little vibration or noise; in fact, the sound of the machine running is completely inaudible from indoors, ensuring it won't disturb your rest. Both its cooling and heating functions are rapid and stable, making it an outstanding choice for year-round use. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Replaced my previous mini split after the old inverter failed, and this one has been working well. Installation took a vacuum pump and some patience, but once set up properly, it ran without issues. It is quiet and does a good job heating and cooling my 400 sq ft bedroom. My only minor complaint is that installation is not the easiest for beginners, but overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

Appears to be a nice unit. Got it hooked up and running. Unfortunately...... I had to reflange the low pressure side, which should have been 3/8.... But no, it was nine millimeter. I had to go buy a whole new flange kit.Just to reflange it ....."really".... so I had to spend an extra 45 bucks On a low dollar, mini split... And about two hundred bucks worth of frustration! Why... Why... Why

This mini split is not a FULL DIY. Lines have to be vacuumed in which it is a tool that has to be separately purchased. You have to know what you are doing to be able to set this up. I had to get a professional to finish setting this up. I couldn’t even find the freon online or in stores.
